Maybe but efficiency is whats going to make you decide from Corp A or Corp B - you going to choose the corp with the higher sucess rate of both bang for your buck and contract completion. Especially if you are using mercs to bolster your own offensive ability or take the heat off of you, you arent going to hire a corp with more losses than kills. I dont know the corp in question, i dont know their background. I would however make the observation that it might have been a good idea to establish yourselves before annoucing yourselves as mercs - even if it was just padding your killboard with a few lowsec roams. First impressions count a lot in this business unfortunately, and not having a killboard link on posting your thread is a school boy error. I posted a thread some time ago about it, not sure where it is now - might be in the Resources list - id advise you read it and make sure all the bases are covered if you want people to take you seriously. edit: yep its in the resources list - "Posting your first merc thread" ---------------------------

They're crap, I don't like crap. but I'm terrible, can't we be friends? oh well, I was just curious. IMO efficienty would really only affect the price of the contract. What is the problem with having a not-so-hardcore merc group out there if they are more affordable than lets say....... noir.?

Mara Journeyman	Posted - 2009.08.13 19:57:00 - [133] Oasa was a fun experience for us, but this really taught us that we need to practice a bit and gather up a healthy killboard first. AoS has decided to start getting more experience doing some smaller scale operations. We will still engage in some 0.0 roaming, ganking, griefing, but we recognize the wisdom of a good killboard first. Was great fun being with you guys out there, but we will still build a bit first, before our next outing. Thanks to the atlas guys out there for showing us some tricks. We're going to try some smaller contracts, still utilizing ganking/griefing/black ops tatics. Looking for new players interested in black ops/recon/ganking/isk http://academyofshadows.weebly.com/

Stealthbombers should be the dirty-work doers. They should get all their equipment via black-ops jump-portals with cloaky-transporter ship :) Hopefully their operations grow in future, i also like very much stealthbombers especially now that those lovely ships warp in stealth etc.
