i'll second that, it felt so nice going to my first 0.0 belt and IGNORING cruiser loot...thats like...blasphamey in empire loving circles.
although the expensive intys do *occasionally* leave good loot i am told, one of my friends even got a cloaking device from one

and i got a quote YAY \o/. I understand fine........you guys threaten a newer player over him salvaging or not salvaging a loot can in 0.8 space that was not tagged. so in other words an open to be looted loot can.
if it's not a secure can, it's not thievery, it salvaging.
he who salvages a can first gets the loot, that simple. just cuz someone else shot the rat does not tag the can.
the only cans that get tagged are jetcans. if you cursor over a can and there is no corp tag on end of it, it is free to be salvaged by anyone.
if it has a tag and is not a secure......free to be salvaged by anyone, it is simply your choice if you care to salvage someone's tagged can and belongings.
and all this over a 0,8 loot can.

instead of staying in highsec area mining why dont u go mine or do some other fun in low sec or w8 maybe even the big 0.0 unstead of picking on noobs - with some luck ill run into 1 of u mining then ill try give u some other then loot to think on j/k
seriesly instead of getting bored with even and start complaining about what 10-50k of loot go try some new
/me remembers the first couple of month in empire damn that were borring

Right now im back lets get a few things straight here shall we .
1. I don't pick on newbs i help them and i have helped a lot ask ppl that know me im allways being told i give to much away.
2. I was there to help someone else mine i was mining and hauling with an alt this was the first time in 8 months i had mined in a 0.8 system.
3. The loot can was a jetison can which belonged to a friend of mine which had loot writen on it so if someone had clicked on it they would have seen who it belonged to which wasn't me.
4. I goto 0.0 mining and hunting alot so don't call me a carebear plus im in an aliance which helps keep ppl safe .
5. When the can was emtyed no one said a word one of them was flying a T2 frigate how ? if they were newbs.
6. I had to relog when i got back and warped into the belt i thought one of them locked me as i was using 2 pc's and bringing two chars to the belt i just glanced at the screen .There was already some arguing going on between the ppl i was with and the supposed newbs . I said don't lock me im not in the mood now go away . They were arguing about the loot can and after avaryc was rude to my friend i asked him to say sorry but he wouldn't so it went on .
7. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW AT THIS TIME I WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS WAS A NEWBE AS I DON'T LOOK AT EVERYONES DETAILS.
8. Yes i swore at Avaryc if someone is rude to a friend and im there you can count on me being rude to them.
9. Thankyou gariuys for standing up for me while i was away.
10. Don't be so quick to judge ppl as you don't even know me .
11. This Thread sounds like my children coming home and saying daddy it's not fair someone picked on me .
12. My final words are Avaryc GROW UP and whats this about you working it out with me i havn't heard from you. I had forgotten about it untill i loged on and was told by a lot of ppl what you had said about me .I will forget about it now as this is just pathetic.

a cargo can is still a cargo can if it's unsecure.
salvage rights, simple as that. regardless of its contents or security of system.
named with corp siggie or not.....still a lootable unsecure can and salvage rights take pressidence.
if someone doesn't like people taking their cans, go to where you can use secure containers and/or shoot at people who do take cans.
concord does not respond in .4 or under and the sentry guns can't hit at the roids.
if someone even approaches your belt in a .4 system or less........tell them to leave and to go to another belt now, if they don't, just blast'em.
problem solved and done
