A certain military (Can't remember which) created the "Gay bomb" which, in the words of the narrater of the documentary "Which caused soldiers to make love not war" 
Pirates consumed rum because the water back then was too filthy, so they suplimented it with rum.

Not true, unless the population stays at 6 billion. However, by 2215 the population will be over 10 billion at least. So there will be more midgets, but at the same time there will be more people, so normal sized people will still outnumber them.

From what I know both of you are right more or less. What I heard was that by 2215 the humans will be grouped into 2 subspecies. The first being taller males and females with mocha skin from years of inter-racial relationships. Smart, athletic, and successful.
The second will be a more squat sub species with lower brain functions and most likely would never reach above remedial work status or laborer.
I'll have to find where I got that from. In fact I believe somebody posted that article here on eve once because I so remember saying that you can find the distinction now just simply by going to Wal-mart and the Gap.

The idea is though, that by 2215 genetic engineering will have most likely been perfected if our technology continues to become better by then. This century alone is supposed to yield even greater advances. They think that by at most 2050 controlling computers via brainwaves will be a mass produced technology. The technology already exists, they did this with a monkey. Of course your brain will be connected to the computer via a device.
