Please just keep adding more ships to the game. A set every year or so just isn't good enough.
Love the idea by the way, maybe even expand it into the Battleship class.

A battleship? That sounds like quite possibly the most useless thing ever. You'd have to the dumb to run around lowsec/0.0 in a battleship running exploration complexes...

Battleships would be to big and slow for this.
Maybe for high-sec they'd do but being agile and fast is important.
Only with Gas Mining would an Exploration Battleship be practical for having lots of cargo and tank.

Since Dominion is nearing I thought I'd bring this back up with a thought for those in 0.0, the ability to fit a cloak.
Wormholes themselves can be dangerous as can regular 0.0 space, especially if you're out there mining Gas or running a Radar site.
However, I don't want to take anything anyway from the current cloak/cov ops cloak users.
As such, the only cloak bonus (if they get one) would be to bring the speed and scan resolution penalty to 0.
This would still leave you unable to warp cloaked and thus at risk (would be OP otherwise) but allows you some margin of safety while running around.
The gas miner would have a secondary cloak bonus to allow it to cloak in a Gas Cloud.
