Hey, I'm interested in getting access to some R&D agents in this corp. The problem is that the only decent agents are in either haligur or evati, both systems heavily infested with "pirates". Missioning is near impossible there. The only other options are crappy public relations agents that seem to only give courier missions with a combat one every 20 or so, or the level 1 combat agents (lol). So I'm wondering how those of you with the standings got them?

I should mention what I've already tried. The "pirates" are willing to let me mission for an unreasonable fee. This I would pay, but then you aren't protected from all the other "pirate" corps in their naptrain coalition. Also when I coax my friends to come along for some lulzy "pirate" kills, they get blueballed by the "pirates" that are afraid of real pvp and only want to gank carebears.

You're aware that couriers are about as good for standings as combat missions, yes?

No, couriers are terrible. They give between 0.01 and 0.02 standing per mission, and I haven't found a constellation yet where the storylines come from a BC agent. Also, I hate missions and carebearing, they make me want to play something else. Unfortunately, it's the only way to get access to those R&D agents.

just started min missions. try getting the first boundless r&d agent u can (wasnt hard for lvl 1). he will give u a daily mission whine that will increase standings till u can do lvl 2 and so on. compliment that with other mission to increase it. the graduation certificate missions from the 2 data centre agents should be enough to get the level 1 r&d(started from no standings). contact me if you have any questions, ill be happy to help.

Its not hard to raise standings for R&D agents. Many so-called bad agents give much less non-combat missions than are claimed. Even runing courier isn't that bad on standings as the missions are quick.
1. raise standings with a mission runner. If you blitz its about 3 hours from low negitive faction standings and no corp standings till your doing lvl 4's. As the standings the same for a ql -20 agent and a ql +20 agent, dont even need a high ql agent, its actually easier if pick a low ql agent.
2. Run missions with you lvl 4 agent of choice to raise corp standings. You can actually start sharing the standings (with r&d char) as soon as you can pull the lvl 4 missions. Its only about 10-15 good missions shared and the r&d char has enough personal standings to pull missions with the chosen lvl 4 agent.
3. Once have standings with the mission agent, pull missions with the r&d char till have corp standings required for the r&d agents. Again this can be about 15+ good missions. No need to share standings with missions pulled by the R&d char.

Low level kill missions don't give that much more than .01 and .02, and they take much longer.

You need to find a storyline agent for the corp, then run missions for the closest agent to him. That will get you Boundless Creation's storyline missions and thereby raise your standings pretty quickly. Unfortunately for you, both the storyline agents are in low sec.

There's at least a group of low sec "mercs" that could help you around there (GIS) and they are amazing guys to fleet with (yes we were blue when we lived in Taff).

There's also one or two cosmos missions for Boundless that gave me a lot of standing with them.
