Id like to thank the OP for pointing out the obvious and the fact the a closer update on the time has been given. This would indicate that they are in Final Deployment mode and are probably rebooting the database servers as i type. This will probably be followed up by a Starting up msg 500 odd seconds or something. Was nice to chat with you all on here look forward to doing it in game soon. |

It's par for the course. CCP seems to use actual release as a significant part of QA. They usually discover serious problems only when releasing a patch. For those not accustomed to this, it's usually wise to avoid critical things until a new patch has been shaken down... avoid missions, serious mining ops, war engagements, etc. It has sometimes taken days, even weeks, for things to settle down after a patch. It has sometimes even been dangerous to merely undock after a patch. |
