I think in the alliance rules/prizes it says the winneres get 20run-BPCs and runners up get 10-run BPCs. Or something along those lines. - Nobody gets rich in this business. Still, it kinda sucks that these will either NEVER be flown or the winners will ** them up the wall either flying them for kicks or selling them to ****s. It's one of the saddest things about anything like these ships, and the same goes for kickass sports cars and private jets. We may all drool, and on occasion whack one out over a copy of top gear magazine. And then you work out that the only people who have them are bald, old and over-weight. I love the tournament and stuff, but I just hate how they spam out these superb unique ships that even 99% of the alliances who actually win them will ever see used.

You're pretty ****ed if you think that with only 4 of anything** in the game that it would cost less than 10M ISK. Tell me how that's a strawman please, do you even understand what a strawman is?

Honestly, If I had the skills and/or could buy them regularly for the price (making it worth training for), yeah, I'd pay 150mil to pvp in that frigate. You pay that amount or so to pvp in a t2 cruiser today, and a quarter of it to do so in a t2 frig. OFC they will be multi-billion isk ships so, not so much at the inevitable prices for them.

Another option would be to have the ships as prized for the tourny, then after... oh... say.. 6 months... the ships could be released to the general populace.. That way, winners can have new toys first. It'd be good for business too. If a player, thinking about letting their subscription expire, sees that new ships are "coming soon" he/she might choose to stay. Also, knowing that new ships/weapons/modules/rigs/skills are added on a regular basis would be enticing too. I got started by talking to a co-worker. If the co-worker can say, "They're introducing new stuff next month! It'll be great!" I'd be more apt to join.

Nocturne - Caldari - Osprey Obsidian - Caldari - Moa Regulator - Caldari - Osprey not everything matches up but it looks like these minnie ships the freki and mimir are probably going to be rarieties, but new ships look to be on the way as well... hopefully that awesome freki skin gets applied to whatever escort frig the minnie's get.
