As to your figuresà Ahh... the clarity of being thereà

VOTF forces ranged up to nine - eleven BS at one point last night. For the last 48 hours, both sides have consistently outnumbered each other on different occasions. The advantage swings back and forth constantly. Both sides seem to engage when they think they have a chance to score a kill. Nobody is being stupid and it's a refreshing change from what we are used to.

In Ourapheh last night, there was a big standoff near the Yulai gate. Both sides kept trying to maneuver for position but no one was in a hurry. Ezekiel (sp?) I believe then got his Raven ganked by the sentry guns. About five minutes later, from out of nowhere, an insane lag spike hit that dropped my FPS from almost 30 to about 4-5.

Both Latex and Danks lost their Scorps to cruise missiles already in flight during the ensuing lag-fest despite my warping the gang out almost immediately. It was a fun stand-off that got ruined. The lag hit everyone, but we got the bad end of it. Oh well.

VOTF then decided to move out to Botane, but we caught them near the gate and Albator's Raven didn't make it out.

From this point, we regrouped and headed off to Orvolle, eventually popping out into PF and attacking the VOTF gate camp there. Redon's Raven went down while EternalDark and Xirtam took heavy armor damage before managing to warp out. We then pulled back in to Empire and logged for the night as it was approaching 0300 in the morning for many of us.

Later on, VOTF managed to catch Riz with his pants down in his Scorp and ganked it all to hell and back. Good job on that, and you will not see one of my pilots alone in a BS again.

Soà Latex, Danks & Riz. Who was # 4?

In each engagement, the CLS frig pilots have taken about 75% losses, which they are perfectly willing to trade for cruiser and BS kills. Each side has also taken half a dozen or so support ship losses. From our perspective, things are pretty much even at this point.

Oh, and one more thing: stop using the word "we" so much, Aneu. It infers that you have somehow been present for the fighting, which you have not.

If someone from VOTF who has been there cares to talk about what is going on, fine. Otherwise, how about putting a muzzle on this one?
