This is the worst 'half way mark' for the BIG Lottery in a very long time... Roughly 40% down compared to last round at this stage. Very similar to what we saw last round at the last newsletter (37B newsletter). The interesting thing about last round was that, against my prediction, we actually did manage to 'recover' from those initial very bad sales. The very last days of round 37 saw a lot of sales - More than 1/3 of the total.. It would seem ticket sales are very irregular for the time beeing. As such, any prediction as to whether we'll reach the 'goal' of 250,000 tickets sold this round, would be highly speculative. The signs are not good (rather bad actually), but as last round showed... You never know. We'll (maybe?) know more in a weeks time (when the next BIG Games Newsletter is due) Sponsor 25M ISK donation from the Fountain Alliance (FA) The FA is sponsoring the BIG Lottery in order to promote awareness of the FA passport program. Buying a passport allows you entry to the Fountain Region for hunting purposes (no mining). A passport costs 5M ISK for a day, and 25M ISK for a week. That ppl continue to bring ingame politics into this (the Lottery) I personally find the lowest of the lowest. It's despicable. The BIG Lottery has been running ever since beta, before any ingame alliances even existed. The BIG Lottery wallet is kept totally seperate from any other BIG finances. The BIG Lottery will continue TPAR or no TPAR. So whatever TPAR has to do with this is beyond me. Take comments like that to where it belongs - The corp forum!!! There you can name call all you want, and I wont bat an eye. The BIG Lottery is made for everyone to enjoy. It's an attempt to make something in EVE. You(plural) should try it one day. Something that everyone can participate in if it takes their fancy. If it's not your thing - Why try and destroy it for everyone else? Thats simply beyond me... It's despicable... If you want to take a swing at BIG, fine by all means do so - But do it in the corp forums. We've added something to the game - Something that some people thinks is fun to take part in. I only wish more people would do the same!!! But I cant blame them for not even trying, seeing how they risk getting 'shot down' in trying to do so. It's so low. I however sent BIG 50mil once rather than 5mil. Sent eve mail letting them know mistake, and they gave me 45mil back. So With that I have to trust them.
