Planetside looks like a good game though, I still love my EVE so much that I wouldn't dare cheat on her.

planetside is great... for about 2 hours.. thats when u notice its the same hting over andover again.. the same one thing...
eve is much more complex, planeside is good to play now and then, eve is good for playing all the time day and night for many hours at a time

Planetside used to be good, now it sucks balls, i quit so long ago.. went back for a trial a few months ago
the lag was worse then ever was gettin like 0.1fps in medium sized battles. and my br wasent even growing.. and overall it was boring as hell..
that game is horrible.

Planetside used to be good, now it sucks balls, i quit so long ago.. went back for a trial a few months ago
the lag was worse then ever was gettin like 0.1fps in medium sized battles. and my br wasent even growing.. and overall it was boring as hell..
that game is horrible.

Thats odd i played planetside and it sucked so much the guns have a very odd aiming thing that sucks there was way to much lag and i would just spend 10mins geting setup and runing to a battle only to get killed right away 
but that must of been a year ago so maybe its ok now

TO me there are only 2 games that will become an upcoming challange to EVE. Wrold of warcraft and D&d online! When they come out... I am not sure what to do... I am 100% warcraft fan and I play D6d pen and paper off line (Neverwindnight, could not comepare to Pen and paper) so i can't wait to see what online game I will hope over to.. or stay here with eve!!
Eve rocks over every MMorpg game out there atm!

meh, those r btr than the first one but bottom line is PS is way btr than eve. frist u have to know how to play the game but u guys probly sucked so u quit, second the guns dont aim wierd, its called a cone of fire and thus requires skill to use them right. PS is also a team/ squad based game, u can go at it alone, but its usually more effective when ur in squads, similar to ur "gang" thingy. once ur in the field with ur squad charging across open ground as tanks and aircraft go by and enemies are shooting at u( and then u get within range and pwn) u realize how badass PS really is. nuff said, if u dont like PS i dun giva ****.

Planetside is awesome.
I hear theyre coming out with an expansion, ping wars. If you consistantly have a low ping due to your crappy DSL service, not only is it more or less impossible for you to do anything in-game, but SOE sends several people to your house to take turns kicking you in the crotch. Supposed to be great fun, and if theres one thing that SOE is good at, its kicking their coustomers in the family jewels hard and often.
