I'm sorry but every time i dock in an amarr station I feel like I just crashed into the godamn Vatican, the endless 6 second gregorian chant loop is driving me insane and making want to undock ASAP whether it is safe or not.
Please, FFS make it more like the other stations with general sound effects and drop the the chanting to a little bit every minute or so. In short I vote CCP kicks the choir in the balls, if they have any that is.

It's a natural reaction for you. The beauty and perfection of the chanting just has a hard time penetrating the black heathen heart of a minmatar.

I listen to the choir and I am saddened. I listen to the choir and a black void begins to fill my heart. Because even though the song is pure and the notes are clear, there is something missing in the choir.
The choir has no soul. The choir doesn't bury itself into your very being, into your heart. And therefore you do not feel the love of the Lord. The Lord loves you all, but you can't hear it for the choir lacks the love itself.
Can I get some soul into the choir?!?

Ya ever spend any time in the gallente station with the distorted voices in the back ground? Yeah, that'll drive you insane real quick. From time to time some smart ass ccp programmer has added his own sound byte. For a while there was a short "hey dumb ****" that played quietly about 10 seconds after docking or closing the map while docked. It got old real quick once I noticed it.

Can I point out the delicious irony of it happening to be a Mimatar posting this? 
And no. The point Insa made about it being like crashing into the Vatican is quite apt, since Amarr is really a theocratic society.
If anything, the chant needs to be improved and made a bit longer. I agree that it only going 6 seconds is annoying and makes it sound repetitive.

I actually like the ambient station sounds but yeah, the chanting\singing thing needs to be tweaked a bit. The loop is too short.
The end is extremely f'ing nigh. |

That's how the war actually started between the Minmatar and the Amarr. It had nothing to do with idealism: loyalty vs liberty. That's just how we teach our history in Republic University. We're just fine with hard work. After all, we have sc****d together a fine Republic from the scraps we took with us during the Minmatar exodus. The honest truth is, the Minmatar got sick of the moans of the oppressed being incessantly piped into our hangars and quarters. It drove us into insanity until one day, we slaughtered the choir, and the heirophants directing them. What a relief to have the random clatter of a workshop - the rip of duct tape and tap of baling wire. It's the sound of progress.

I only accept this feature ONLY and ONLY if I can kick them myself using a street fighter style of combat game. SF rules biatch

uhm... actually i find it relaxing but i can understand a minmatar can have some bad feeling from good amarr music :)
Btw here is the solution... during Christmas let's change the choir with this so that you'll have a period of the year when you'll be able to dock to our station with no problem ^^
