Disable the autoscan on angle changing and things will be better, sure it can be handy at times but with the timer in place I'd rather just scan on demand.
Yeah now that is the one thing this change has done that is annoying to me past the message. As far as the change itself well I'm largely ambivalent towards it but it wouldn't bother me to see it removed or left as is sans the angle change rescan and message that is longer than the delay. I worked out efficient ways to scan large areas long ago so when this change hit it went mostly unnoticed. However the vast majority seems to have only ever learned to use the dscan as a 'click wildy as you gyrate the view looking for a hit' method and can't think of any other way to get the same result so you can understand their frustration. And tbh it wasn't easy to figure out any new ways of scanning as it takes a bit of math and geometry finess to work it out along with a general knowledge of how your targets react in various siuations. Ah well nothing like incentive to learn new things.

Ok, so let's all agree to this up to what you just said. I don't think they are pushing state-of-the-art. SQL Server and Windows Server are hardly the ideal, optimal platform for such an undertaking. Maybe put it on Oracle and run it on a Unix/Linux server, then we'll talk state-of-the-art.
