On the evening (GMT) of 15.09.2009, the Singularity server will be upgraded to a new build featuring some new functionality being developed for Dominion.
Currently, there is an issue in the Mac client that prevents us from using it with the new Singularity server build. So temporarily, Macs will be unable to connect to Sisi. This is a temporary issue and we are working hard to resolve it as quickly as possible. As soon as this issue is fixed, we will again support Mac clients on Singularity.

I assure you all that we value our Mac customers greatly and that is in fact the reason why we are working so hard to fix the issue so we can get our Mac pilots back on Sisi.

Most of the time, yes. But in the last run-up to apocrypha they changed something big so that you couldn't do that, which is why I want it confirmed from a CCP dude.
You could run them side-by-side, you just couldn't use the same preference folder, which you probably shouldn't be doing anyway.
Yes, you can run a client connecting to Sisi and one to TQ side-by-side, but they must run from different installation directories.

The test activity will go on as scheduled, but through the development of Dominion, we will be running several such events.
The purpose of this activity is for testing to improve the quality of Dominion, and will provide us with valuable data to fine-tune the release. This will benefit all of our customers - those that use Mac as well as Windows (we use the same base code and assets for Mac and Win). Therefore, it would not be to the benefit of anyone to simply skip the event because Mac users cannot connect at the current time. But we are working to get the Mac client fixed ASAP so that you will be able to be involved in future events.

Hey guys, while I don't have an ETA for a Mac build (aside from SoonÖ) we are still working very hard on getting the Sisi client up and running on Macs. Rest assured that this has not been forgotten about, and this is a very high priority issue for us (I'm a Mac user myself ).
I will try to keep this thread up to date with information about where we are upto, but often there is not a lot to tell aside from "we are working on it".
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience.

Hello everyone,
As Nimbus points out, we have not lost any sight of this and continue to work on it, and will be resolving it as soon as humanly possible. I would also like to point out that we cannot give all of the technical details of issues we face. I assure you that we have looked into, and will continue to look into, all options of how to handle this temporary problem - including all of the suggestions that have been made here, as well as many others not mentioned here (as we are directly involved in the development and are working on this every day).
We do not like this situation. And we appreciate that this is frustrating to many of our players as well. We appreciate any patience that you can afford us while we work through this issue.

Hi all,
There is progress and we are now near a potential Singularity client candidate. It will be with you all SoonÖ.
We still very much care about you all and we are still working on Dominion support for Mac.

Originally by: Deathbarrage Fact of the matter is mac clients are of least priority but CCP is forced to do something about it because the 3% mac players provide some revenue after all?
This is absolutely not true. We release bi-weekly iterations of dominion to Singularity and attempting to do a running support and try to ensure that it works in every iteration will take extra time and effort out of both CCP and TransGaming. We have decided not to go with that approach. Instead we have decided to invest that time on work so that we can say "From here and on, the Mac client will work for Singularity".
This is why it is taking time, but we are almost there.

The link is legit, the official test server download page will be updated as soon as possible. Instead of waiting we opted for this quicker way of getting the Mac client out there to you guys. ------------------
