Dark Shikari - Still #1 after a year
Xaen - An earnest player looking to improve the UI, who over the years slowly descended into madness and bitterness due to CCP's inaction.
INNOMINATE NIGHTMARE - A new player who, immediately after creating his character, bought a shuttle and headed straight for 0.0 space, never to return to empire ever again. Received over a billion ISK in donations from his thousands of fans.
Chribba - Veldspar *****, philanthropist, and the only TRULY trustworthy character in EVE.
Infamous:
Guiding Hand Social Club - No introduction necessary. They destroy alliances simply because some random person on the forums claims they are irrelevant.
Verone - Perhaps one of the only pirates I would trust to honor a ransom.
Backdoor Bandit - Better hope you fitted a 1600mm rolled tungsten to your rear, cause you are going to need it.
Hargoth - Pulled the plug on one of the strongest alliances in the game.

I lost my very first ship a badger I think to Frankinator who was about 150km from the gate - I was hauling garbage or something and thought woow the money, didn't realise the route was low sec and that was before insta-warp.
There's lots of infamous people in eve though, some past, present, hilariously funny, hilariously funny in a cringemaking way and others so dastardly that you have to wonder if you would actually employ them to do a job involving money or items in real life.
I think however what hasn't been said so far (I haven't read ALL the forums) belongs to a group of characters. The group that creates the loudest drama bombs in 0.0 alliances while providing little to nothing in return for a base, that was - until they arrived spouting crap - secure and happy.
This Buds for you, you know who you are, and if you're wondering who that was in your alliance career then it WAS YOU!
