One sound when scanner is clicked and it worked, another when it s busy preventing lag. Leaving it as is and saying it is not on the agenda is simply not listening to the players. I thought the point of the CSM was to be the players voice.

If the new system addresses this issue, then have someone post a dev blog addressing the large amount of pilots that are voicing their frustration over the scan delay issue. We are asking you as representatives of the players to express our frustration over a mechanic that was recently introduced and which (I would guess) is not all that complicated to change. It's not just the scan delay that is the issue here, it's that the timer resets should you (in your frustration) click the scan button. For those of us that rely on this feature to catch someone quickly in an asteroid belt, the scan mechanic is a vital one. Reducing it to one (1) second and removing the penalty for hitting the scan prematurely is what is being asked here. Let's face it, you are our representatives and when you tell us the F off and go somewhere else, we don't really feel you are taking the "People's representative" thing very seriously. At the very least, you would think that being in PL you represent some of the denizens of 0.0. Make it known that we aren't happy and that making a change would be something your voters would like. THEN post their answer. You are our voice and if you, at the very least, do this then we can say that CSM tried something and CCP was unable/unwilling to comply. IF you have already done so then post the meeting minutes that reflect this and we will go elsewhere with our pitchforks and torches.

If theye are overhauling, then players would like to know the timeframe and if something could be done before that (like make the button uncklickable during cycles) overhaul is complete.
