I tried unchecking enable sound and then rechecking it and still nothing.

EVE has sound????
on a more serious note. can we get a dev comment on when this might be fixed on SISI. I know its not a huge problem and not going to stop or hinder testing but it would still be nice to know when we can start hearing those pretty explosions again.

The comms chatter is something I've only noticed around Amarr stations, but it's always there, also on TQ.
You don't usually hear it very well because it seems fairly soft compared to the background music, but with the Jukebox probably turned off, it's probably quite noticable.

I know it's there, but it is very loud on sisi at the moment.
I also heared chatter from rats probs at the same high volume.

Actually I didn't report it as a bug because I was hoping they where implementing the custom jukebox thing hehe. _________________

Sorry, but you have to wait slightly longer for that. There was a build issue leading to no sounds being in the game, and as such the custom Jukebox is not working correctly at the moment - this build issue actually lead to another bug surfacing which I am fixing right now.

Um, does that mean I was somehow using a different build to get onto Sisi?

Interesting question, really. Which version did you install over, and which patch were you using? Since the issue is with the incremental patch for updating the TQ client only, this could be interesting. Do you have all sounds, including the jukebox?

Hello,
I have the same problem - no sound at all on SISI. Voice seems to work though.
I upgraded from the current TQ client (101786).

I used a full build, got all the sounds including the jukebox.
Though the sound isn't working proper though.
Radio chatter being too loud(Only on SISI) guns sometimes don't make sounds(also on TQ) Can't hear distant happenings such as guns and explosions(also on TQ). Sounds I never heared before (o_O) which is kinda nice though.

I patched from TQ to SiSi and have no sound, whereas a friend of mine downloaded the full build and has sound. I've been told that it is a known issue with the patch so I it looks like the full build is the way to get your sound. ------------------------------------------------ You either need a punch up the throat or a good shag.
Nobody round here is offering the second one therefore your choices are limited! |
