I was going to post something intelligent and well thought out in this thread but I'm too tired and the idea that the relegation of the moros' "I can make heavy drones better than fighters and do almost as much remote DPS as a carrier" bonus to siege mode is a bad thing is so totally boggling my mind that I'm having problems thinking straight on this issue.
It's simply that stunning that people think that having a dreadnought capable of doing up to a touch over over 1100 rDPS with bay space for four wings of heavy drones is perfectly fine when the next best ship can only do up to 317 rDPS and only has the bay space for two wings.
Maybe I've been reading GameFAQs.com too much but I seriously hope this is a troll thread. ____________________

De ja vu man. Someone said almost exactly this same thing when the carrier "nerf" was coming up. It wasn't a very effective sentiment back then. ____________________

There is, of course, a simple solution to this "problem."
Give the moros the same drone bonus outside of siege mode that every other Gallente drone ship gets, 10%/level, or give it the same 20%/level bonus the rorqual gets.
That way it retains some utility, it's uniqueness, and it's no longer "i r teh tird guhlantay carryer!11!!!!" ____________________

Dreads are NOT supposed to be used for shooting objects smaller than them.
CCP's very own description of the moros would like to disagree with you
"Of all the dreadnoughts currently in existence, the versatile Moros possesses perhaps the greatest capacity to fend off smaller hostiles by itself while concentrating on its primary capital target. By virtue of its protean array of point defense capabilities - including a drone bay capable of fielding vast amounts of drones to safeguard the behemoth - the Moros is single-handedly capable of turning the tide in a fleet battle."
Every dreadnought has 125mb of bandwidth. Every dreadnought has at least 150m3 of drone space. The moros is the only dreadnought which can deal with battleships on a one to one ratio in terms of effective DPS.
While every dreadnought should have a capacity to defend itself against smaller targets should it be able to act like a super-dominix?
While the moros' description indicates it is intended to have greater sub-capital defenses than other dreadnoughts it does not indicate that it is intended that the ship have the sub-capital offensive capacity of a decent to good battleship. ____________________
