To the OP: I noticed the picture of your POS and correct me if Im wrong but if goon ever decides (when pigs will fly I guess  ) to attack you, are you sure you will have time to online every defense mods you got there. I noticed lots are anchored right now ?

Ok, so I know almost nothing about alliance wars, POS mechanics and stuff, but Goonswarm looks really bad in this thread. Whoever they are.
Would someone care to explain to a noob why
1) Goonswarm apparently have such a bad reputation? (Is there a neutral 'history' or chronicle of their actions somewhere?)
2) taking out a single POS owned by a tiny corp would be any problem whatsoever for an alliance with thousands of members and
3) why it makes a difference that this POS is in Empire space (when a war has been declared)?
Links would suffice, I don't mind reading ;)

2. It's not a big problem to kill any POS as such. The point is that the guy set up a corporation, spent a lot of money on a wardec, and many boring hours setting up a POS for no other reason than to make it hard for goons to kill. Since there's no reason why goons would be interested in killing his POS in the first place, he's trying to talk smack as hard as he can to get them to kill it, to make good on his investment and save face. It's pretty funny.
3. Capital ships cannot enter highsec space, so all POS shooting would need to be done with small ships.
