I have heard that it can be problematic to have both your jump clone and regular clone in the same station, and although I haven't seen this mentioned in any of the guides, I wanted to check with this fine forum to see if it is true, or if I have been misinformed. I had heard that having one overrides the other (possibly losing my jump clone in the process), and since I am now in the position where it would be really great to have both in the same station, I wanted to check to see if there are any issues with this. If not, great, otherwise, can someone please explain how it works?
Thank you,

From what I understand it's not the medical clone and jump clone in the same station that causes the problem, it's the one time you try to jump to another clone the moment you wake up in your medical clone - at which point the new naked clone replaces the previous mission-runner jump clone which had your billions of ISK worth of Crystal + Halo implant set :)
Best option is to have jump clones safely stowed away in different stations, and always fly to a different station before jumping out of your new naked clone.
This is only my understanding of the problem. I've not yet had the problem of a jump clone going "poof". [Aussie players: join channel ANZAC] |

That issue was fixed a long while back.

That had to do with having both a medical & jump clone at the same station, yah.

- Medical clones and jump clones can be in the same station. - You can have several jump clones in the same station.
Everything else you hear is outdated information or plain superstition.

You can never have more than one jumpclone in a single station.
- You can have a jumpclone and a medical clone in the same station - this bug was fixed with Trinity.
- You should be able to jump to a jumpclone in your current station, effectively swapping bodies (you -> jumpclone, jumpclone -> you, same station) - this bug was reported fixed in Revelations but I heard a few rumours it was reintroduced later. I have no independent confirmation of either claim.
- You can not have more than one jumpclone in a single station. If you have a jumpclone in your current station and you jump to another jumpclone some other place, one of your two bodies in your departure station will be destroyed.

And in the last case that Estel stated above you get a big warning box that stops you before you can destroy one of your clones anyway, I tried it once and was promptly asked if I wished to continue with the act, much like the Low Sec warning.

True - you get a warning saying that you will destroy one of the clones if you try to leave 2 jump-clones in the one station.
You can jump from your active body to a jump-clone in the same station as that doesn't violate the rule of only one jump clone in the station......I've done that many times when I've wanted to get out of my implants, but not move to another station. It seems to have been fixed as I have never had a problem (probably a dozen such jumps on Tranq). I did test it on Sisi a few times before trying it with implants on Tranq though.
