Dear EVE players,
Question. If I explore and find Gravimetric sites, that are often ore and mining sites. But do I have any way to effect the Gravimetric exploration? If I put on a device that increases Gravimetric strength I know it will be harder to jam with Gravimetric. But will it also help me with the Gravimetric scans? So I can find Gravimetric sites more often? If they do not. I really think CCP should make it so. And ladar strength for ladar scans. Etc.

Pre-Apocrypha there were separate probes for each type, that was deemed to be too annoying to mess with so they changed it so that 1 probe does them all. If you are having trouble probing things out, train up your probing support skills.

Not quite the answer I was looking for. So there is nothing that can sort out the 4 different scan types? Very confusing for us new player. That Gravimetric both meens one of four jamming system. And ore sites..? If you have high Gravimetric scan I think that should ad ass a bonus to scanning for Gravimetric.

The sensor strength of your ship has no effect on your chances of probing a site with the same name. They're two totally unrelated things that just happen to share names.

I am new to this as well but from the information I have been given, read on there is nothing that will give enhancements to scanning for any particular type of site, just skills and some rigs that help you with scanning in general. I am trying to link you a thread I started a couple weeks back that had some great answers in it

Correct. The only way to know is to scan a signture down until type is shown.

Understandable. Electronic Warfare is completely separate from Exploration, though they do share some of the same words.
