well, we all know YOU don't read the forums, if u could be bothered to read the post's instead of just the title/1st post and then skiping to the end ur'll see that....
THIS POST IS NOW ABOUT PROJECTILES NOW!
all that stuff u say may be true, but the tempest and typhoon have bonuses based on WEAPONS THAT DON'T WORK !
the tempest/typhoon has always been the lesser ship's, it never get's 1st in anything, but then again, we minmatar pilot's prefur the all around approach, tempest is almost 2nd or 3rd in all aspect's of the game, EXCEPT FOR WEAPONS.
CCP has seriously screwed up with projectiles and it's the minmatar BS players who are suffering because of it.
the problem is that minmatar ship's have less cap's/shields/armor than any of the current BS's, while the other BS's have been balance by having more of one thing and less of another, the minmatar ship's have been classed as the rogue"jack of all trade's" type ship.
we have a problem with the projectiles, ccp please fix them!

Reading this thread I'm kinda happy I made a caldari alt who is now 1 month old whereas my first char ever, a minmatar, is only 1 week in training.
ALTHOUGH I've been quite impressed by the few competent posters who have written about the way they use their tempests with much success in missions and pvp.
In fact I would love the minmatar to be as good as others, as I'm naturally inclined to pick a freedom loving race (and the minnies are the only ones to have a tribe that is truly independant, according to the speech that is given at char creation). Now there IS a problem with minmatars, at least the tribe I picked. They're butt ugly;-)
Flying to Pator in my slasher atm;-)

AYE !!! ! i say protest !!! I my self am a miny ! and damn proud !. Sure i might have .. good .... amarr ... faction *Im secretly gaining faction so i can overthrow and claim the seat my self and proclaim miny's the rule'ers of eve ! .. then make CCP BALANCE PROJECTILES! by spanking them with a DIY spankathon T3 macheine*
Here is what ive seen with projectiles ..... Small Projectiles on my awesome rifter ... i use artilary 280mm proto's and i do !!! 60-85dmg :) wrecking of 130-180dmg :) When i feel adventures i use my autocanons ! and i get 20-30dmg :) Thats OK for me :)
My rupture ! *god i love that ship* I use 720's or 650's :) ... my dmg ... 20-30 or i miss .... hmmmmm ok ill be adventures and use 425mm's SCOUTS ! .. my dmg :) .... 20-40... or i miss TOTALY hmmmmmmm !!!!!! .. i dont even want to mention my gankphoon .. :( PLEASE ! do something to balance out our weapons CCP. Its giveing the other race's a unfair advantage .. ALL the other race's ... :( anyyy way .. PROTEST !!! you can count on my ship being there :) waveing a flag !

There were ppl there till later in the day even.

I was there. It went quite well. There was quite a few pilots congregated at the Matar monument. A Tempest was destroyed in protest along with a couple of other smaller ships. Cans were left with messages and the protest passed off peacefully and dispersed after about 90 minutes. :)
CCP paid as much notice to the rally and they have this thread :)
