Let me start by saying this is a legitimate objective, whether any of you think it is wrong, is irrelevant, it's going to happen either way, so there's no need for flames 
G.A.N.J.A - Group of Amatarian Natives for Justice and Acknowledgement, has declared a start to hostile actions against the minmatar republic, CCP have been informed of why, when and how we intend to do this, and it's now you part to join EVE history.
What?: A recent news report from "The Source" (EVE online newspaper) stated:
"The Elder Invasion of YC110 caused widespread damage to many agricultural plantations within the Ammatar Mandate, despite the invasion forces limiting their strikes to military infrastructure and strategic installations which posed a threat to their primary goal of recovering slaves. As slaves were seized by the Minmatar-Thukker forces, the holdings on which they worked were often heavily damaged during the initial assaults. Further incidental damage, up to and including the burning of some plantations, is associated with rioting and sporadic clashes with Amarr troops during the invasion and in its immediate aftermath."
GANJA - Group of Amatarian Natives for Justice and Acknowledgement intend to fight back by blowing up our ships outside "The Scopes" HQ in Orvolle.
Why?: Because the Minmatar Council has admitted war atrocities in the statement above, and we demand compensation for the farmers of the Ammatar Region.
Mission: Blow up your ship outside "The Scopes" HQ in Orvolle, Gallente Space.
When: October 10th 05:00 GMT/In Game Time (23:00 Pacific 9th October)
What Ship: Entirely free choice, anything from shuttle to force recon. The bigger the better!
Pods: We discourage the suiciding of pods.
Why: The chance to make EVE history, be a part of the first protest against a news item. CCP have been informed of our actions, and must surely get involved, otherwise the blood will be on thier hands!
If you are interested (and trust me, this is only the beginning, we plan a whole war of insurgency against the enemy until the demands are met, then feel free to join the channel G.A.N.J.A in game..

Sounds like a great chance to make EVE history, afaik there's not been anything like this done before, a response to a news story..I don't even read the articles..
Apart from that, great chance to get together with some people and blow myself up, you got my support :)

Even if he is straight about his intentions it will only accomplish what any symbolic protest accomplishes: nothing.

Well, a few replys if I may:
"Looks like someone just trained Salvaging .." - Trained it a long time ago, this of course is an alt, and like all terrorists, I hide behind a mask of anonimity. But, on an interesting note, I actually would like as many people as possible to come and salvage the wrecks, it's free..so far, we're looking at about 30-33 people, and there's a week left to go, so if you want free salvage, you know where we're gonna be

I expect it not to achieve anything, i'm merely starting small, I want them to invoke harder repercussions, and then the fun will really start. We have room to push harder, and I hope they make us.

So...you have a grudge against Minmatar and so you will blow up a neutral news corporation  ? Which isn't even a Minmatar organisation ? Like Iran suddenly sending terrorists to strike at Moscow Daily News  And if I'm not mistaken (at work) Orvolle is highsec.

Orvolle is highsec, in Gallente space. Why not stage your protest in Minmatar space instead, let them clear up the junk from your wrecks?
And why stage it outside a Scope station? Might be wise learn how to direct your protest in more meaningful ways, unless of course you intend to antagonize elements within the Gallente federation as well.

How will cluttering a news agency's front yard with wrecks get you reparations from an unaffiliated party that just happened to feature in one of the bulletins?
Much more appropriate to go blow up your ships in front of whatever cave the Minmatar leadership is occupying, as they are the ones that actually did you harm.

When you win could you fix the bug in Orvolle they have going with the hitting their gate in null sec leading to neg sec status? That or just remove the gate entirely from null sec if they cant handle it getting damaged. Thank you and good luck.
