So far I'm pretty underwhelmed. I figured a mercenary corp would be actually willing to put up a fight, but it seems that Guiding Hand can only grief defenseless newbie mining corps, as soon as someone puts up a serious fight they log off or dock and talk a lot in local.

So far I'm pretty underwhelmed. I figured a mercenary corp would be actually willing to put up a fight, but it seems that Guiding Hand can only grief defenseless newbie mining corps, as soon as someone puts up a serious fight they log off or dock and talk a lot in local.

Is that the mining/production corp definition of 'serious fight' whereby the odds are between 6:1 and 8:1 in their favor? I know anything less then 4:1 in their favor is considered ganking.

Yes, I'm sure the CEO can't afford the loss, seeing as how you're being totally ineffective at preventing them raking in money. For the most expensive merc corp in eve you're doing a pretty poor job.
