still amazing to see people not grasping that if you`re red to me that does not imply that i`m red to you
NRDS = not red dont shoot
are you red to CVA? then you get shot at
WHy you`re red to CVA? go sort that with there diplomats , but that is irrelevant to this thread , if you are on there KOS (kill on sight) list , they will shoot you
to clarify this again
NRDS means shooting ONLY reds . If you`re red why are you whining like a beatch?
As for the fanfest thingie....dude get a life!

Read this really carefully, ....i got shot when i was not red...so when CVA claim they 'were the good guys who have successfully applied NRDS to their systems' ... i trusted my BS detector.
and i *did* try the diplomatic route, and instead of an apology i got more BS.

Yeah read the whole post. So since he got a lot of BS by CVA and not the Hyperion kind. He bought a ticket to fanfest and yelled and heckled them in RL to show how much more witty he is than they are. Because after all doesn't anyone realize Eve is RL just ask any EVE widow out there.

from where did you get the idea that my intention of going to fanfest was just to heckle? I even say in the a previous post i went To fanfest FOR fanfest...
This forum is kinda pointless when people don't actually *read* what i type. Its such a simple story that a child could repeat it back to me, but apparently thats too much for the trolls.

If people are against the IRL smack in a (game related) event - why do they think acting like a **** in game is acceptable?
If more people were scared of being punched/shot through their monitors, they might act nicer.
Actions have consequences. While I obviously don't condone RL violence over a game, if someone was smacked up IRL for being a jackass, it would still amuse me.

isnt fanfest supposed to be about the game so any like or dislikes about it can get addressed who gives a damn what its about.
I mean honestly if I saw a representative from noir their I would totally make them disband already since they've been talking about it for forever......

They usually set corps/alliances red, not individuals. Unless you repeatly kill them in and out of various different corps, or pirate in Providence while in an NPC corp.

On the whole NRDS thing, just because you are neutral doesnt mean you wont get shot, especially if you're in an NPC corp, and CVA have intel about roaming gangs in the area, you will be treat as an alt scout for the larger gang in the area.
Maybe you were unlucky, however CVA give a lot of corps/players the chance to get thier first experience of 0.0 life, without the massive politics that are normally assocaited with alliances, so they at least deserve respect for that.
As for the thing at fanfest, i was in the alliance heads conference, and the guy doing it was standing in at the last moment, IIRC, so heckling him was a pretty lame thing to do.

Despite my relatively short time as a resident of Providence I would like to share my personal observations:
Contrary to the statements of some in this thread, the NRDS policy of Providence is taken very seriously.
The only time neutrals are being shot at is if they are in an NPC corp AND their previous corp is red.
I have not yet seen a single intentional breach from the above policy, although have been part of an incident where a non-hostile neutral was shot down by mistake due to unupdated corporation standings. However, the matter was resolved and the pilot reimbursed for his loss.

That is correct. I've been unfortunately been part of both sides of that rule with an alt.
I really don't see why people knock CVA for enforcing NRDS. As it stands, NRDS is perhaps the biggest political/diplomatical headache in EVE, but they do a fine job defending their space while allowing people to take their first steps into 0.0. There's also quite a bit of pew-pew action on a daily basis that doesn't involve politics, just plain old fun. 
If you're neutral in Providence, you're not 100% safe from being blown up by CVA or the holder alliances. If you hang around camps or appear to be scouting for a red fleet (which happens a lot), then you may be shot. Of course, it can be resolved later, but it's just one thing that has to be done TBH.
Also, I now have one of those annoying sigs.
