You shot me for no reason!'' ...dunno if the camera's picked my voice up. I was the blonde guy with the blackback-pack. I am the head of Viking Acers. Then, later on, i confronted them at a table, the heads of CVA. They were wearing suits. CVA is For the LOL. Instead of getting an apology i was basically told it was ok to shoot me if i "looked like a pirate". Kill them all. I have level5 local chat skills and 'advanced in-person smacktalk' lvl 5. CVA is holding onto one of the 'hardest regions in the game'??? Since when is Providence hard to hold? It's the single crappiest 0.0 region in the game. The main reason CVA has held it for so long is nobody really wants to take it from them. I give them props for surviving as an alliance and holding space for so long. But it's not like staying in providence is a major feat. Anyone who wants to expend the effort to take and hold 0.0 really wants to live somewhere that the truesec is better than living in lowsec. IE: Anywhere but Providence. Dominion should make providence get very interesting though. It's one of the most densely populated regions of 0.0. Maybe you were unlucky, however CVA give a lot of corps/players the chance to get thier first experience of 0.0 life, without the massive politics that are normally assocaited with alliances, so they at least deserve respect for that. As for the thing at fanfest, i was in the alliance heads conference, and the guy doing it was standing in at the last moment, IIRC, so heckling him was a pretty lame thing to do.

I've been unfortunately been part of both sides of that rule with an alt. I really don't see why people knock CVA for enforcing NRDS. As it stands, NRDS is perhaps the biggest political/diplomatical headache in EVE, but they do a fine job defending their space while allowing people to take their first steps into 0.0. There's also quite a bit of pew-pew action on a daily basis that doesn't involve politics, just plain old fun. If you're neutral in Providence, you're not 100% safe from being blown up by CVA or the holder alliances. If you hang around camps or appear to be scouting for a red fleet (which happens a lot), then you may be shot. Of course, it can be resolved later, but it's just one thing that has to be done TBH.
