For those that don't know me, this is Proton Power and Evalf.
Suggestions, Comments always welcome.
I am looking for an Accountant and Auditor that feels can fill the roles outlined below. Contact me via msn [email protected] or via DeathGrip eve mail.

LYII
Team:
DeathGrip (CEO) - Over all responsible for LYII, holds all assets, and makes all dealings with isk. Responsible for the monthly reporting of LYII, and maintaining a good accountant and auditor at all times. Will maintain a 50% or greater investment in LYII at all times, no new shares can be created unless DeathGrip can purchase the extra to keep 50%.
(Need someone here) (Accountant) - This person will track LYII Current value, Provide input to DeathGrip, and give DeathGrip all information needed for dividends and monthly reports. This person will not post any information on the forums or to anyone based on LYII, unless he/she feels the CEO is doing somthing wrong. This person will have full API information of DeathGrip. This person receives a percentage of all profits LYII makes.
(Need someone here) - This person will verify the initial start of LYII, verify LYII business plan, and do a quarterly audit to make sure that the accountant information is accurate, and all isk is accounted for. The auditor will do an initial post, and then quarterly reports, informing the public of anything the auditor feels fit other than items used to create isk. The auditor will have the full API of Deathgrip at all times, and can at anytime look and call out anything that is being done wrong. The amount this member will be paid will be discussed prior to the opening of LYII.
Goal:
The goal of LYII is simple, create a working company within Eve, that creates rich's for all investors and employee's, while maintaining the standard for reporting, auditing, and customer service.
Plan:
LYII will use the isk generated through investors to purchase materials that LYII feels will gain a positive return within a short period of time.
Example: Buy Tritanium at 2.5, Sell when it reaches 3.0
The isk will be broken into even segments, with the starting amount of the Company being 30bil Isk, there will be 5 Segments of 6bil isk, this is to ensure if one segment loses isk or does not see a price increase for some time, the other segments should make up for it. The invested items will vary from minerals to T2 items.
Investment:
The initial start of LYII will be 30,000,000,000isk or 30bil. The CEO must maintain 50% of the investment at all times, so 15bil in shares will be available. It is not necessary to have all isk in order to start LYII operations.
Right now LYII is in it's planning stages and not taking any isk. Once the planning has been completed, an announcement for receiving isk will be made.
Payments:
The initial start of LYII will not see any dividends for two months minimum, four months maximum. At the start of each calendar month a dividend will be paid if one is available to be paid out. With the nature of this company, it may not always have made isk each month. Either way the CEO will report on the exact current value of each segmant and entire corp value. The value will be based on the 3rd highest buy order for the goods LYII has invested in. The accountant will be responsible for giving the CEO all this information.
For running the company the CEO will receive 5% of all profits + shares owned.
The accountant will receive and additional 3% of all profits + shares owned.
The auditor will receive a start up fee, and then a quarterly fee. This may change to 1% of all profits if the auditor agrees.
The company will maintain 2% of all profits for future investments and to cover potential future loss's.
Closure:
If at anytime the company does not seem to be making isk, or the CEO wants to close, he may do so. All assets will be liquidated and paid out.
Buybacks:
Do to the nature of this company, buy backs can't be guaranteed, but will be looked at on a case by case basis. All buybacks will be based on 90% of the corps current value divided by outstanding shares.
Extra Notes:
This is not a daily trading operation, this is big picture operation. The company buys up a material that it feels is at its current low, and then sells when that item hits what the company feels is its new high. It may take a few months for one of the segments to bring in profits, it make only take 2 days.

Is one segment always dedicated to one item?
The 3rd highest where? Not counting volume?
Are you taking reservations?

Firstly Proton..you've been going for years now so you must be worth a fortune.
So are you floating this ipo because :-
1/ You're not actually worth a fortune despite all your past endeavours....or
2/ You are worth a fortune but you're just floating this cos you like being involved in ipos?
Just out of curiosity........just HOW MUCH are you worth atm

Sounds like a good plan. Dividing it up is a very good idea, are you going to give a broader idea of what you'll invest in.

Hopefully don't miss anything -
*Each Segmant will change, meaning once an item does it's full turnover, buy and then sell, that segmant will then be put into another area of the market, soon as I find one I feel fit.
*The investments will be mainly in production type goods, minerals, moon goo, t2 comps, t2 reactions, datacores and such. Items with a high turn over. It is possible to hit some T2 items if I feel safe, but that will be the exception, and not the norm.
*I have over 200bil isk in assets right now, not including my multiple billions in various investments, the only reason I know this is because I am now down to 1 account and moved everything over to 1 character which liquidated much of it. I do the IPO thing just because I like to do it, I like being part of MD and the attention. I like to show that IPO's and plans can work.

How risky do you think this is?
If one was to be cynical about it, one might say that this is a way for you to engage in speculative trading without putting actual ISK into it.
If the operation ends up being at a loss, I assume that the accountant and auditor will be forced to state so to the public. However will you pay out of your own pocket, to make sure that no investor loses their money?

I am not going to say every single thing I invest in is going to make isk, I know better. I can say that I have done deals like this before, the Ice Index which short term trades i did great on, only fell behind on the long term trades, also the 10bil IPO that invested in 1 item that made a nice return as well.
There is always risk, if CCP makes it were minerals are usless and i have 12bil invested in 2 minerals nothing I can do about that.
I won't promise covering every investors isk, other wise whatsthe point in the IPO. I am not scared of losing my own isk, if I was I wouldnt not make it were i have to hold 50% of the iop at all times.

I'll drop 5B into this. As a suggestion, neither one of the roles should actually be in corp; that way, they can't ransom a freighter or something.
The Accountant thing is actually a great way for someone to get their feet wet. One of the younger traders should jump at the chance to see a master at work.

After the first week of collecting all isk, make a post regarding that I am using it as intended, confirm you have my API, and over the next 3 months take quick looks at my API and confirm I am doing as I have said I will do.
You will not hesitate to post if I am doing anything against my company guidelines, or feel I am scamming in any sort of way at all.
You will post after the initial check and then quarterly reports confirming what the accountants and myself are reporting are accurate.
You will get paid quarterly, starting with your first payment being the first quarterly report, you will each get a fee of 200mil Isk quarterly.
My accountatns will be to fairly unknowns. These guys work more for me than the MD coummunity, so this does not bother me.

If any of your accountants bails or you need some more help, I will offer my accounting services.
Though we may want to take some time and discuss reporting protocols as it has been my observation that reporting standards have been practically non-existent to this date and would like to change this.

Posion and Hexxx are awesome choices for Auditors, neither of them need/want ISK, which actually puts a little feather in their cap for being an auditor. Although I don't believe it's happened there is always something in the back of my mind that if I gave an auditor my info they'd use it to profit for themselves. :) These two are great auditors because one has as much ISK as you and doesn't need it, the other doesn't want it :)
