Good Morning One & All

The reason I am posting this is to counter the general image that all 'Carebears' fear danger, complexity, 'Goons' & CCPs EVE Online sandbox.

You see as consummate 'Carebear' I play EVE precisely to test myself against everything that CCP & All the other players can throw against me.

So as someone who made an extra 2 Billion ISK over my usual monthly income, all due to CCP's removal of Drone Alloys, The 'Goons' Burn Jita tantrum & 'Hulkageddon'

I thought it was only fair that I came and thanked all concerned for my extra income and to encourage other 'Carebears' that you don't have to join the predators to both survive and thrive in EVE

So how did I do it.

Well I adapted how I played.

After the initial the announcement of the removal of Drone Alloys from the game I started to hoarded all my ore, as it was obvious that metal prices would go through the roof before finally falling back to a new higher steady state price.

With the announcement of Burn Jita, I gave my Jita Office a holiday and moved all my operations to Amarr.

With the announcement of 'Hulkageddon', I dusted off my Retriever and Covetor blueprints and made a few to sell at the inflated prices that would follow the heavy losses.

While both of the above raged on I also switched from hauling & mining belts, to missioning both to build my Faction standing and mining the mission deadspaces.

Nothing better than mining a mission deadspace, as even if I was scanned down, if they wanted to 'gank' me they would always arrive at the deadspace beacon and not my mining ships, thus giving me more time to react & jump to safety.

So yes the 'Goons' are an irritant & their leader a buffoon (I was in the audience at his fateful Fanfest presentation), yes CCP have made a marvellous sandbox game and yes as a 'Carebear' I enjoy adapting and surviving among all of the EVE preditors.

Finally

Yes this a disposable posting alt. I might be a 'Carebear' but I am not stupid enough to give easy intel for those EVE predators who want to get all 'Carebears' out of EVE FULLSTOP

I thoroughly enjoy adapting, surviving, thriving & irritating the hell out of the EVE predators as a result of being a 'Carebear'

So thank you CCP and all the EVE players for making one of the best games around.
