Background: Altaica Amur is convo'd by Ms Kypp. Amur's corp were considering a merger with The Insurgency, but decided instead to merge into IZK. Ms Kypp seems to take offense at that and goes on to slander IZK and Amur. ms kypp > alt how have u concidered merging into insu? Funny, no one told us that. I expect the complaints come from the 80% of the alliance that never participate in ops, even CTAs, and never use Vent, and just sit in Deklein whoring the easy ISK that DEFY gives them great access to. So what next for IZK? Whatever involves pew pew I expect, we'll be assimilating PROFX's core members, setting DEFY red and probably roaming into Deklein for some ~good fights~. DEFY, if you touch our POS's, we will touch yours. Altaica Amur Gallente Ichizoku	Posted - 2009.10.17 04:50:00 - [11] From the perspective of someone who's been in Defy a bit longer and who wasn't under the sting of the direct slagging that IZK received my main issue with Kypp's comments was the sheer incompetence and stupidity they betrayed. Leadership of an alliance should do many things but what it absolutely has to be able to do is recognize talent and effort expended for the benefit of the alliance and work to recognize that. In failing to recognize what IZK brought to the alliance Kypp failed Defy by failing to work to retain key assets both in material and personnel but promised further failings across the alliance. This isn't just that Kypp might insult important assets to the alliance but might fail to get the right people doing what they know the most about, failing to fully take advantage of the resources available. Maybe if Kypp was fighting more often she'd see how much single people can do when she tries to replace her ship off the Cloud Ring market since we all know the ship replacement program is a joke, maybe then she'd notice how most of what she bought was at a reasonable price, from one member of the alliance. Of course now if you try to buy an amaar battleship in Cloud Ring it will be 11 mil more and in a fraction of the quantity and variety as before, the removal of the contributions of a single member can have far reaching effects, especially when members of her own corp are having to borrow ships just to participate in ops. By slagging and disrespecting IZK Kypp shows what thanks effort and dedication get within Defy and that's not an alliance that's going anywhere or anything I want to be part of.

When we joined, we were told that ships lost in the CTAs (of which there were about 7 a week) would be replaced for free by the alliance. So in total, we sent 70% of the insurance payout for the following to the alliance, 23 days ago: - Tempest - Raven - Harbinger In addition, the alliance offered to replace some T2 ships lost on CTAs: - Sabre - Vagabond In the 23 days, the only ship which has been replaced is a Raven (and that was only after days of *****ing, and Ms Kypp having one in her hangar all along). Go figure. Just don't want any new corps to be lured in by the so-called 'ship replacement programme' - it essentially doesn't exist. -- Gnosis19, CEO ICHIZOKU

This is so very true, there are people who are very good and very helpful. But there are more who would rather just carebear in good Deklein space rather than doing anything for the alliance. And the leadership is clueless. We had: - No USTZ Vent admins - No sense of directions - Meetings without agendas or resolution - The messiest forum ever - No solid sets of rules or procedures Essentially DEFY was an alliance without direction or enforcement of any kind. -- Gnosis19, CEO ICHIZOKU
