Bellum Eternus and Rells are both drafting their manifestos... manifestos which are DESTINED TO REMAKE THE WORLD IN THEIR IMAGE. And we unworthy few are here to witness it as it happens, privy to every epiphany and revision as it happens in real time. When, with one single keystroke, one of these two literary giants sweeps aside the established order and brings forth the new utopia we will be there to see it happen, witnesses to history all. However I'd expect nothing less than this sort of petulant ingratitude from the so-called "Eve O Forums."

If you look around the forums, you will find that yes they are ewil piwates who make sad pandas out of many players, but they also give out advice and are not the run of the mill emoragegankers you find most of the time. This is how they play the game. I once saw Bellum Eternus say in local "I like to kill people". So what. It's a game. I like to play COD2 and smack people in the head with rifle butts (it never stops being funny). Over a year ago I was in a NPC corp chat and two players were on the verge of ragequit because of Bellum. I had them fleet with me, and took them back into the Parts system to attack. We lost, as was suspected; Bellum uses blaster Megathrons - I still look at the combat log and remember that hideous damage and how my fail fit Brutix was peeled like a banana. The noobs had a great time though, even if they did not win, they took the fight back to DOV and enjoyed that. I purchased new Thoraxs for them and they remained playing for a long time after that. They joined other corps and went their separate ways. Now, this is a game, and you can take what happens one way or the other. There are guys who get rejected or dumped by a girl once in their life, and then 15 years later they are still living with their mother, and there are guys who get thrown under the bus but keep right on trying. In the end, it all starts to look like an argument between those two types. Let's say we all get a life and enjoy this crap instead of bickering.

Carebears run the show, always will. They're the majority, they are the major source of income for CCP, so CCP will accommodate them a bit more. Granted, this next expansion is aimed more towards pvp, but to what end? Dust 514 and planetary interaction are aimed much towards FW, carebear pvp. The star/planet visual upgrade is for, you guessed it, aesthetics for carebears. The faction BS/cruiser/frig upgrade, while possible to be used in pvp, is more for carebears who USE said ships and can AFFORD said ships to do as they please. TL;DR-Carebears rule, Bellum's type of player is a dying breed. Now please become extinct.

You seem to think that saying something and then following through on it means that they did the opposite thing. If they have to cut lose, say, 50,000 carebears out of 300k accounts to stay true to their vision, they'll try to find a way around but if they must, they're likely to do it. They aren't a corporation, they're a selfowned group of gamers making their game, albeit with (strong) suggestions from us. Their vision got them this far, they'll trust it to take them even further.
