Agreed. "Jihad"'s literal translation is "holy war" which is the Christian equivalent of "crusade".
Its not a racist insult or threatening someone with terrorism and goes back to the 1100's as a response to crusader knights were shouting "Dues Vult!" (God wills it!).
Though it you say the word "crusade" in a speech to people from the middle east and they'll probably get ire'd up. People still think of King Richard as the bogey man over there.

Nope, I came to the correct conclusion as everyone responds "grow a pair" or "don't be so easily offended". This threads logic is "It doesn't offend me so it's ok" whic is total LOL and I can easily go with it as I rarely if ever get offended. But it has to work both ways, either set words and phrases that can't be used as CCP somewhat does, although their version is so open to interpretation that it's laughable, or let people say what they want barring real world threats.
I would also like to take this time to say that one of my friends had a quib about ****** in his bio and ccp removed it... I had to laugh seeing how double faced they are!

Oh come on. Its not the langauge that's a problem, but the constant barrage of insults. If someone blurts out one thing, lets be mature adults and return with something, not running to the nearest authority figure (admin)
So, grow a pair. If the barrage rises to the level of griefing, then report it. But don't report mundane racial epitaphs or some swear words laced together.

CCP has already set precedence concerning offensive language. I remember running into someone in corp chat that had his named changed to something of the effect "user85739". He said he had petitioned CCP to get something other than "user85739". I asked why he had that name and he said because CCP has removed is original name because it was offensive" I ask what his original name was and he stated "Buzz Light*****". Obviously someone found it to be offensive and CCP had no compunctions about removing his name because of the offense.
How is this any different? It is not. The fact that some people find it offensive should be of concern to CCP if the above name was deemed offensive.
Personally, I don't find any of it offenesive. Nor do I believe CCP should be in the business of being the PC police. The eve universe should develop naturally however offensive it might be to some.
