hmmm it's the intro of the trailer, or what? From what has been written on the forums after the fanfest I thought it would be something more than 1:47 of fly-bys which is like hmmmm nothing new? Of course explosions are amazingly great but... that's all..
Also I am surprised by the use of serif fonts in that exodus trailer, cos as i could see on sisi server, new GUI was nerfed and serif fonts aren't any more in it (system names, "warp drive active") etc.
It's a little bit of misleading and confusing in overall design.

Nice trialer but this trilaer shows nothing special. It looks like intro of some good Science Fiction Movie not like triler of expansion. It should be shown what will we find in Exodus.
But trailer is awesome...

Not the best trailer (look at Homeworld II, or the intermission cutscenes from that game), but very good never the less. Those might be just flyby's but they are amazing:).

You know CCP, you guys are doing a ****ing good job with nearly everything. Mad props for making the expansion free (unlike SOME companies *cough* SOE *cough*). It may sound like ass kissing but the job you've done with EVE has been the best display of development I've seen to date (dispite the rampaging nerf bat at times). I can't wait for Exodus and being part of this game since beta has been the most fun I've had online. In short, keep up the excellent work folks =)

Exodus isn't even officially out the door and you want a Kali teaser? Give us some time.  When Kali is closer to release and not just a working concept, a Kali trailer will be worked on and released.

Bit a shame though, because Shiva will be so much more then some POS, some new ships and more fancy eyecandy.
Think the last trailer was better, even though that involved seeing a bit too much ships explode after another.
Still think the Angelice Prime movie is the best though. No narration, not the most spectacular soundtrack, no hardcore action, yet still the only one that really gave me goosebumps.

The Teaser looks good, but it could have been longer if you ask me. Oh, while I'm here, Kieron, do us all a favour and fire the entire GM staff in-game and hire some real TSPs that know what they're doing and are willing to do work and resolve problems (yeah, I know I say this everywhere now).

The Teaser looks good, but it could have been longer if you ask me. I agree it doesn't show the bulk of what Shiva is but that is very hard to do as the new customers that this is aimed at they would not understand what was being shown to them
So if you gave them a montage of 50 million new items they would a) have an epileptic fit and b)still not have a clue.
Personally I think that the production is very well done and the trailer serves its purpose well, it says look we're expanding, we've got new stuff, everythings changing, we're still the prettiest game out come and give us a try.
It's important to recognise that this is primarily a tool for attracting customers not convincing the existing fanbase as for you guys, well it's compulsory innit.

I think the length is perfect makes me want more, and the sound and voice over is spot on for me personally.
You know I disturb myself at times...

Thank you all for the nice comments about the trailer. This is the first of many trailers we will release. This one was intentionally made to be shorter than some of the other trailers as this version will serve more as a promotional vehicle than an in-depth overview. As some of you know, the production of a trailer is a very time consuming process and when these scences where taken, not all the new stuff in Exodus had actually made it into the client and therefore not capturable.
So keep an eye out, more will come after we get the release out on Nov. 17th

I'd like to see some informational trailers/videos that discuss the content and the many things you can do in EVE. For someone that's never heard of the game, the graphics look great but it's wicked unclear as to what's going on in the images. Just ships flying around and shooting stuff. Put some sales pitches in there. Try to sell the GAME, not just the graphics.
Basically, something for the people that don't like to read too much.
