Or will this just generate alot of local whining/smacktalk.
Basically I want to scan down mission then warp in with a gank ship and kill all the rats thus stealing the mission runners bounty
Bannable? C/D

This is entirely against the spirit of Eve. Eve is about production; mining, missionrunning and the creation of wealth in a safe enviroment, not about killing other players. I hope you get banned for griefing.

Damn PVPers, always the same 13 yearold greifers getting off on deliberately harassing defenceless others, it's like burning ants with a magnifying glass, bunch of losers.

You realise there're bears who'll pay you to do this? Faster missions = more LP/standings per hour.

You need to get up to at least level 4 in Douchebaggery to do that with enough proficiency to profit from it.

I think it would be better if you went in with logistic ships and repped the ships so he could not complete the mission. That is much easier and you don't have to keep buying ammo thereby keeping your costs down.
Then again I may just be wrong

You cant, you get KONKORDOKKEN if you do that.
I mean, actually you can, before CONCORD arrives.

N Ano, it's legal, and the most annoying way to do it is to target the ship the MR is already shooting at, and alpha strike it so you get the last hit. It'll be real easy to do with the changes to artillery in Dominion.

Be careful however, it is considered 'griefplay' to scan down someone's mission and come in and take the mission objective item and warp out and that is bannable.
I have found out however that if you offer the item back to them, for say 20M, then it is not 'griefplay' according to ccp and in fact is just a great way to make money as a prober if you have no conscience lol. ______________________

I can't believe there are players out there who would even consider doing these horrible things. Eve is about cooperation and helping eachother, not ruining other player's day. I can only hope CCP comes to their senses and remove griefing and non-consensual pvp. I suggest you offer to help missionrunners instead of trying to grief them. In fact, I would like to extend a hand and give you a chance to join me in my own missionrunning. I know some good agents out in low security space that I'm sure would give missions enjoyable for both of us. The missions can be somewhat difficult at times tho, so make sure you have a good battleship fitted and ready. A CNR or Golem would probably be your best choice. Please, convo me ingame when you come to sensses and you decide you want to be one of the good guys.

N Ano,
I'd actually love it if you did this for me. Please shoot me an evemail. But I think you're really just doing it for the grief . But if you're not, let me know. You can keep all loot all bounties, everything. I just want LP and standings.

****, it's easy NOW. I have a ship specifically fit to do just this. I sometimes bring it out when missionrunners start popping wrecks

Edited by: Razzor Death on 08/11/2009 06:15:15 I mentioned this in another thread somewhere. I only heard about people doing this in huge gangs the other day. Alone would suck but a 10-20 man fleet wapring in and destroying there mission would produce a hole new volume of tears. The great part is if u get the mission item you are not allowed to steal it but you are allowed to ransom it back to them at a fair price. ie 60-80mill or something.
Why isnt everyone doing this in big gangs. So much QQ to be had

and I honestly don't care.
I do care when they come crying about when someone manages to wtfpwn them.
their tears are 10x moar powerful than carebear tears. I use them to fuel the warpdrives of my cov ops ships.
that's why they hit those warp speeds ---

This could yield some interesting results. Specifically, The Blockade has lots of potential here. ---------- There is always a choice. The choice might not be easy, nor simple, nor the options be what you desire - but, nevertheless, the choice is there to be made. |
