That is only to even the field against Ev0ke. They have nearly endless resources due to many high end moons and also they have napped at least three quarters of Eve. How else are you expected to fight against such entities??

well some people are getting all worked up about cloud ring and poor evoke, not the least evoke themselves.
with posts all over scrap heap and here.
maybe evoke still has more cash left over than the nc after mining all those nice dysprosium moons.
maybe the nc doesnt like cheaters living next door...
you people would complain if they brought god or if they brought the devil.

I should also remind you PL & Evoke made quite a show of the fact Mostly Harmless tried to give CR to evoke FOR FREE just a few weeks ago, but Evoke gave them the one-finger-salut.
Care to tell how many ISK they now took from you for that useless region?

Antares always had my respect as a corp. GL with Phalanx, you guys always joined the defence fleets when nobody else would. Vanguard you lost a great corp in Antares.

I don't know about avoiding the NAP train, Vanguard. struggled for a long time to get a ticket to ride. Vanguard's only flaw was a bad habit of getting stuck with the underdogs in various conflicts (and Dark's bad habit of holding grudges longer than is healthy for an alliance leader in 0.0). There've been a lot of ideas that were kicked around, but circumstances have usually conspired against them. A lot of the people I see kicking dirt in their direction about "bringing the quality" seem to have bounced from one so-called "real" 0.0 alliance to another, as each in turn burns hot and dies young in yet another pitiful attempt to keep it "real" by bonzai charging from one conflict to another.
If anything, I salute them for holding it together long enough to make inroads with one of the super-NAPs. Even with all the changes coming in Dominion, I doubt we've seen the end of the power blocs. The lack of names in the system information will have little bearing on the ability of the bloc alliances to **** higher on the tree in their spheres of influence. Whining doesn't change the reality, the NC isn't going anywhere. All the pvp "skill" in the game isn't going to shift the fundamental reality that numbers trump skill every time. Dark's finally drawn his ace, and his alliance has a place in the fold its been after for some time now.

I will say that in my time living out of P-V in Venal, Evoke were the best neighbors living over in PF-. We were neut to each other but no station camping or pos crap happened. It was just good fights (and we did loose more then we won, but we rarely podded.

VonZeppelin should not have posted that thread at all. There has always been an informal CAOD ban for members of Vanguard because, just as smacktalk in local reflects poorly on the alliance, so does entering flame wars and misbehaving on forums.
I posted a sarcastic, self-deprecating post in the thread to deflect and blunt the criticism in it. There will be no further posts from anyone in Vanguard; if any of you post in that thread there will be disciplinary action.

we would but we dont log in, if we logged in we coudlnt be making such quality posts on caod all the time. one of us takes it in turns to log in once a month so we can see if someone has responded ingame (o/ dark). other than that we dont play.
