Drone bay size of 100m3 versus 400m3?
Seems a bit out there right?
Anyone else think the Navy Vexor should get even a slight boost to drone bay size?
Even 200m3 would make it much more useful.
The drone bay is even smaller than the Arbitrator.

The Navy Vexor was unfortunately forgotten in the patch that introduced bandwidth and supposedly gave dedicated drone ships a bigger drone bay (now that they can't just use it to launch 5x Ogre IIs), while the Gila is a newly-rebalanced ship. The problem and solution are obvious, CCP is just too lazy to go back and fix it.

Pirate ships have focused, niche role they excel to. Due to their high acquisition cost and rarity, it was decided they should either be on par with Tech 2 ships of the same class or even slightly above them.
* Q: Why does the Gila have a 400m3 dronebay when the Ishtar has 375m3?
o A: Guristas in their new form are dedicated drone users, and remember we want pirate ships to be at least as potent as tech 2 attribute wise. While Gallente focuses on drone and close range damage, Guristas dedicate themselves to drone, shield tank and to a lesser extent, missiles. Furthermore 25m3 is hardly a noticable difference for the expected price difference between an Ishtar and Gila.
* Q: Why are faction battleships are subpar next to pirate battleships?
o A: That's intended as they are supposed to be more accessible and less specialized than the later. Furthermore, navy ships require only one set of spaceship command skills to fly, while pirates need two.
This is the same for all faction ships vs pirate ships.

Actually, all the navy cruisers need loving, badly. At least the Navy Vexor can outgank any other cruiser hull, t2 or faction (except maybe the new Vigilant? Not sure ...) - you still have wastes of database space like the Navy Exequror (for all intents and purposes, a Thorax with a smaller drone bay. Woooooo ....)
All the navy cruisers need some love, and the tier 1 navy cruisers need a huge amount of love AND BPC offers seeded.

No they don't because they are so easy to get, and they only cost 40,000 LP at a FW LP store. Did you not know about that patch? FW people get big discounts. There is a reason why the new pirate faction ships are at a T2 level or superior to T2 ships, navy faction is just inbetween T1 and T2 unfortionatly. They are just too easy to get to justify a boost.
Vigilant can do 1100 DPS.

Navy Vexor is insanely powerful as it is currently.
Between the 50% HP boost over the T1 variant and extra lows it can field an absurd amount of armour hitpoints. Combined with up to four heavy drones (or sentries!) and blaster bonus it dishes out an equally absurd amount of damage..
Why you could ever need it to be more awesome is beyond me 
PS: Pirate ships are supposed to be considerably more powerful than navy ships, so direct comparison is not advised.

TBH the navy vexor is more of a blaster boat that happens to also field 4 heavies than it is a drone boat.
If it were to get a drone bay increase, 25m3 would be it. then you could hold a flight of lights or an extra heavy/sentry.

Pretty sure the Deimos can't do 1100 dps, but it is a piece of ****.

I do think that the navy cruisers need a little tweaking however they shouldn't be brought in line with pirate cruisers.
I think the idea of navy cruisers is basically all out combat. However the teir 1 navy cruisers are a pretty useless.
Omen navy issue... maybe increase drone bay by 25m3, increase bandwidth by 15Mbit (or 25) increase armour... reduce base speed then its a nice heavy combat cruiser
Navy Caracal.... eurrrgh, where do I begin. Drone bay is good, slots are good, fitting is a nightmare. Buff fitting specs (CPU and PG) then you have a good medium range combat cruiser.
Navy Vexor.... pretty good ship. maybe increase drone bay by 25-50m3 and +25Mbit bandwidth. Keep the rest the same then you have a REALLY nasty in your face combat cruiser
Fleet Stabber..... Not sure with this cause I would nano it and seems to be very good at it.

Sorta. Really, the solution would be to reduce the Gila dronebay and bandwidth so we don't have a Moa hull with more dronebay and drone damage than any vexor hull. Then change the missile velocity bonus on the Gila to a damage or rof bonus. But, that would be too obvious, and CCP is just too lazy and stubborn to go back and fix it.
