I'll be there. I went to a few frigfry fridays -- the first one was awesome, but the next time I went it was empty and my gang died to a few BCs. :(

I'm down to lose some frigs. My first real attempt at solo PvP was throwing half a dozen failfit frigates at a Frig Fry and asking to be podded to save me the flight back to reship.
Now that I'm not the newbie with an all T1 fit, I'd like to throw down with some HA guys again and hope to fair better.

I hope that security will be held properly because is no good to be killed by a BC in a Frig fight. We know that when that is happening the BC will be swarmed as hell, but the action itself sucks anyway.

Frigfry Fridays were always a blast in Amamake when we were running them and in an effort to keep attendance as high as possible, myself and all the Heretics I've spoken to (though I will not presume to speak for everyone) will not pod anyone who loses a frigate for the duration of the event, though we will not hold you to the same if you do not wish to extend it.

There was talk of a prize for most expensive podkill but the idea was shut down because encouraging podkilling might discourage participation, so at least you can show up and not worry about losing your pod unless you are showing up in larger stuff hoping to pop frigates. I leave it to you to be a good sport and not abuse the offer to show up in the most expensive clone the market can provide but if you feel you must then have at it.

I'll be looking at fitting up a few frigs and either moving them in, or at least closer, near the event date! I'll spread the word; I may be in a small corp, but I got lots of blues in Minny space that would definitely consider it, and I'll forward this thread to friends in other areas too.

7 Days to go, really looking forward to this event.

It's too bad the new logi frigates won't be rolled out in time for this, they could make things really interesting. Still, I can hardly wait. This'll be one of my handful of actually fun things I can do between now and the election.

A couple of us just lost our frigs while fighting Heretic Nation on there frig event. they attacked with a maller (wasnt even in the belt till after it started), lied that it had no guns and couldnt do damage even though we have it on the loss mails.
As far as they were concerned it was allowed caus they had been dealing with locals threatening there event shortly before.

Apparently Fweddit attempted to crash the event with a couple dozen Double-Web fitted Cruisers, we shipped up to counter them, pushed out their gang, and these couple kills with the Maller were in the after math of that.

They will be payed for by Heretic Army, and Heretics will fly frigates for the rest of the event.

We will ship up to kill those who try to crash the event with larger ships... so these problems might occur once or twice.




Don't come in a BC and Frig mixed gang and then complain when we ship up to counter your larger ships...

So far I would say that the event is off to a good start considering it began on a Sunday evening and despite interference. Nearly a quarter bil destroyed in less than a day xD. In order to promote this even further I will be offering a side event.

Introducing The Fry Five Frigs Challenge. I invite any interested individual to a best 3 out of 5 T1 frig 1v1 challenge against me and win 100 million isk.

The rules:
1.T1 frigs only, no navy or pirate faction, no T2

2.No hull may be used more than once. You must diversify you frig choices. Even if your frig survives, it can only be used once in order to count toward the challenge. If you fight me in a slasher 5 times in a 1v1, only the first one will count.

3.Neither party should see what the other is flying before committing to a hull (surprises are half the planning)

4.All fights must take place in Amamake during Frigfest

5.All 1v1GÇÖs will be done in fleet at a safe in order to eliminate any worries about boosting and to have these boats serve their full and intended potential.

6. Warp outs are allowed (real pvp fits are meant to be used), and in the event of one the result is a tie. In order to win a majority of fights must be won, so in the event of a 2 win 2 loss senario a tiebreaker will be held (6th fight). Kiting ships will not be allowed in this final fight or the 100mil reward will be forfeited. If a warp out occurs before any damage is done to either party then the round does not count as one of the 5 matches

7.All fights are to the death and pod ransoming and killing are allowed.

8. In order to recieve your isk, all five fights must be completed, even if you have won the first three. MOAR FIGHTS

Any interested parties please evemail me to arrange fights. Fights do not have to be back to back and can be spread out over the week. I reserve the right to end this if I am out a sh*tload of isk, but will not end it midstream (for example, we have agreed to the challenge but I have lost the first two fights).

Of course you do not have to give ME anything if you donGÇÖt win, but I love a challenge and love 1v1GÇÖs. Pick up some boats in Rens or Amamake and come see if you can take my isk AND my ships!

Hello fellow frigate pilots, our corp will be taking out a fleet at about 0100 19/09 to Amamake looking for gudfites-« and we'd love if other pilots were around for some jolly good fun. If another corp's FC would want to coordinate a frig brawl and eve-mail me that'd be awesome.

I'll admit to a few problems in the first 24 hours... things that stressed me out like crazy... but the event is turning out to be active and fun. And as the week progresses, the event will get busier and more frigate-centric!

SERIOUS ADVICE: If you are 1v1ing... fleet up and safe up with your opponent. Do not do it at a celestial, you might get ganked by other frig pilots looking to get some action.

If you are looking for crazy frigate action... go to belt 3-1 and warp at range to get an idea of whats on the field.

Do not bother wasting your isk here its a cluster F the hosting corp's members are using cruisers and used a myrmidon to kill a 20 man eve-uni fleet, don't waste your time coming to his event unless you just want to pad their killboard

yes we did take a myrm in mate but thats cos eve uni dropped a 30 man frig fleet onto 4 afs so we used the myrm as bait tank and we wiped them out ..... griz dont try and make us look dishonarable mate u have 17 kills to now 9 of which are with a sfi , maller and other things against frigs .... look at our kills on the board most have been with frigs even wen we dwnd ur maller and we brought the myrm bk out for ur mates harbinger and wen the though shall not kill guys titan bridged in we took one of there cynas................. all in all frigfest has been awsome iv had a lot of fun and alot of kills im nt finger pointing at u griz mate u do what u see fit but this event has our full backing and hats off to jude for it. id like to see it last another week now it has alot of attention ..... see u guys on field for the next few days and hopefully another one soon

This tournament involves six days of frigate on frigate PVP in Amamake Solar System! Everyone is invited to bring their T1/T2/Faction frigates to the belts of Amamake. If youGÇÖre new to Eve Online and are looking to learn the basics of combat, fit up a few cheap frigates and mess around with other young pilots participating in the tournament. If youGÇÖre a veteran frigate fighter, consider this the perfect place to prove your talents. Corporations are also welcome to swarm the belts of Amamake with frigate class fleets.

Obviously, I am not of such low intelligence that I don't realize that pilots may bring larger and larger ships to pop themselves some faction frigs. If you really feel the need to do this, just know that you will most likely die to a swarm of frigates.

-Nowhere being truly safe.

I don't think it was the most creative frigate fit, cause
1) I actually didn't kill anything flying this Helios (thank you Haslta, gona hunt your Worm next frig fest )
2) there were some really cool fits i've never seen before for example Gorsky's Harpy, Khadaji Garz's lightweight Atron and someone's Tristan.
But anyway, thanks and it was really great event.
