These people just demanded six BILLION isk, and that I withdraw my corporation from our alliance, as the ransom for ending their war against us.
This is a brief summary of our last engagement: (from their own killboard)

Let me remind you about what you said about us...

Yes, you were hired to perform a job which you did execute admirably. Of course, we have since discovered that the corporation you were hired to attack had a non-aggression pact with you at the time. The remnants of that corporation (after it imploded), joined a pirate/mercenary alliance which you CURRENTLY have a non-aggression pact with, which calls into question the legitimacy of those kills. . . even more so since I cannot find any evidence of those kills on your own private killboard.
If you were not currently involved in a war with my alliance, fighting against us on the side of the very people you were once hired to kill, I would say that you scammed us. But since you ARE involved in a war with us . . .

Edited by: JerichoSteele on 31/12/2009 02:51:58 It appears Le Soltuer is correct.
I was able to find proof of his contract/kills on their own private killboard (I had the name wrong when I did the original search) so I must apologize for my earlier insinuations.
While it IS true that you were hired to attack a corporation, which eventually imploded a few weeks later, and that large percentage of that corporation went on to form a group that you are currently allied with, the six targets you destroyed on this contract (and were paid nearly 500 mil for as I recall) did not join the new group.
But since you brought it up, perhaps you should post a list of your 'blues', or who you will and will not attack. That would be real valuable information for a potential customer to know. As I understand it, at least one person has already hired you to attack one of your 'blues', and you simply took their money and stayed dock for the week. . .I may be wrong, and of course if I am I will apologize, but I believe there was a post to that effect on this thread already.

You are basically correct Sid, although I think their reason for making so much fuss about this war can be found in Creone's post on an earlier page.
Quote:
3.And this is thereal kicker. NO CORP HAS EVER TRIED TO WAR DEC US BACK FOR BLOWING THEM UP. This in and of itself would seem to imply several things.....
*Sid, I think we are the first people EVER to declare war on UE and call them to task for their behavior.
*As far as we can tell, the cap ships they are so incredibly butthurt about are the ONLY ones they've lost in more than a year.
*Compared to their usually targets, noob ships and unarmed haulers, we've been putting the boots to them.
And of course this o so public lese majesti. . .It's simple actually, they NEED to destroy us to save their reputation as mercs. If they do NOT destroy us then their failure would be obvious for all to see whenever a LOJ member undocks
P.S. "SmackTalk" has been used as justification for the strong attacking the weak for so long in this game it has become a cliche. And I think even if their allegations are true, our performance against one of the allegedly top tier merc units has bought us the right to speak however we please!
