And it did not take long before you could buy yourself a landing computer. Seriously, the first weeks of EVE are more difficult than the docking manoeuvre of Elite. Try then to switch ships in EVE. It always takes me 30 seconds and for no reason. I have to stop thinking about Elite or else I only see how much EVE sucks in comparison to it! --

Privateer was fun because of the different 'views' of the ships and the tiny windows that made it impossible to see. Privateer 2 was a great game and I showed it to a friend who was shocked to see live actors in an older game. Total Annihilation 1 was superb, 2 was rubbish albeit fun, Supreme Commander is a blast. Freelancer would've been a better game if Chris Roberts would've stayed with it (I think he left midway through?)
