The isk will be transfered from FightTh3p0w3r momentarily

Good for you chaps, but this isnt Character Bazaar, you dont need to post private deals, the only point of posting your ipos is to get money for them off random people, which is kinda the opposite of what you're doing.
So either you are a tad bigheaded, naive or a very lazy scammer who thinks this will give him some MD rep. I miss my faith in humanity.

It was my idea because I want the security of ruining his rep if he pulls something on me. Its just being smart.

You shut that hole in your face. There are logical reasons for posting/confirming a transaction as they have done. To finish, stroke your ego elsewhere. Cheerio.

You shut that hole in your face. There are logical reasons for questioning why someone posts a private transaction here as they have done. To finish, stroke your ego elsewhere. Cheerio.
Personally I agree with Carine. No need to post this here unless you are trying to build some kind of a reputation that you can cite later when you seek public investment. As for 'rep', neither the OP nor the other person has any rep to speak of in MD. So... *shrug*

Sounds like goon swarm all over again.
After all... total losses where only likw 1,5 bln.
At the end of the day its only digital pixles :p

What a perfect illustration of the value of public registry of private transactions: they can be used to expose scammers when in the course of legitimate private business someone defaults.

Anyone who makes a private loan to someone they don't know or is not in their corp without 100% collateral is asking to be scammed.

Hey thanks for pointing that out.
Reason I rusted him was because I flew with him before and I thought he was more dependable. Oh well. Like I said its only 2 bln, and isn't much in today's economy.

Not really. In the event of a scam, a post can be made to C&P, as is standard. Posting to say "We're going to be making a trade" is just asinine. ----------------

The point is no one really cares.
Unknown 1 comes here and states that unknown 2 is giving him some cash. It's not a public business so why should we act.
The only thing this is a perfect illustration of is that if you don't trust the person 100% you should have full collateral to cover the loan.

Yes, because everyone who reads MD follows C&P. How dare people use the public forum where similar business is transacted for this record keeping purpose. Idiots.
You (and the apparently "well known" scammer) can consider me asinine, but I learned about him here and it had value to me.

I broke no ccp rules. Thanks for playing!
Broke rules? Um. What?
Nobody said you did. The other bloke said posts like this were smart, since they can bust out scammers. I said it was pointless, since if it is a scam a scam post can be made in Crime and Punishment, and if it's not there's no point.
As to "not on our game" - as cosmo pointed out, nobody cared (cares). The only thing that gets even a cursory investigation from the forum police are public investments, because those concern....the public.
This was a private deal between two people, with less than an hour between the post and the announcement of scamming. The only reason any attention was brought to bare on this at all was to troll and mock the idea of posting it in the first place. Start to finish, this whole thing falls deeply into the "meh" catagory for everyone but the two of you, since you're the only two it in any way, shape, or form affects.
Edit to add:

And that you should make your research before giving money away, if the scammer is known as he says and recorded, it is the investor's very fault to lose the money.
Edit:
Quote: I broke no ccp rules. Thanks for playing!

It's the scammers mantra. It is ok because it is not on ccp rules and they need to repeat it every time to feel good _+_ "It is the unofficial force ù the Jita irregulars. "

Fair enough. I'm probably a little touchy because my other thread turned into basically a private transaction registration at the exact same time this guy was scamming. Perhaps you have had the experience of moving from one thread with particular thoughts on the brain to dumping them in another thread.

1) "Private IPO" makes no sense, in fact, IPO = Initial Public Offering.
2) It's sort of laughable to see thieves throwing stones each other.
3) It's sort of moronic to classify a many hundreds alliance based on the behavior of some individuals. I also missed the part where someone with an IT alliance tag came to post how they support this or how you cannot file a complaint to someone higher in the alliance.
4) Farming rep is bad.

So this thread was two scammers putting a private business for the public to see, calling it initial public offering. One of them scams the other and the scammed one wanted to use this useless private loan to regain rep and to scam other people. The scammer who loses the money and the oportunity to scam that he never had then thinks he wins. And the scammer who did scam the scammer is concerned because the guy who scammed the scammer who is himself doesn't remember him.
