CPR - CONCORD Preservation and Recovery
FOR HIRE Services
CONCORD Preservation and Recovery is a High-Security Station removal corporation. We specialize in the removal and destruction of high-security Player Owned Structures in all faction space. We are made up of experienced players from a 0.0 alliance (Systematic-Chaos). As such we are used to the typical POS shoot ops, and have backup at the ready if it is needed.
At this time, we only assault the following:
* Online Small any type (no guns / less than 3 small guns / NO EWAR) * Offline Small any type * Offline Medium any type * Offline Large (Amarr / Sansha / Serpentis / Gallente)
Terms and Conditions
1. The typical deposit is 33% of the overall fee PER TOWER. 2. If player resistance is expected, the overall fee is modified by 200%. 3. If player resistance is not expected but we incur losses, the fee is modified by 300%. 4. We are not a traditional mercenary corporation, we specialize only in POS removal. 5. Enemy kills are free of charge, but, we do not focus on that. 6. Single Tower kills that exceed 48 hours of the quoted completion date are given a 33% discount. 7. We are a CORPORATION not an ALLIANCE. Wars take us 48 hours to declare, the minimum quote for completion of any contract is 100 hours. 8. Most contracts are completed within 24 hours of the war declaration. 9. CPR keeps any and all tower modules found at the tower site. These modules can be purchased by the client at a 50% discount to the price we would ordinarily sell them at. 10. The target corporation removing the offending tower is to be considered successful completion of the contract.
Rough Tower Pricing
* Small Offline: 150 Million ISK * Small Online (No guns): 250 Million ISK * Small Online (up to 3 small guns): 500 Million ISK * Med Offline: 300 Million ISK * Large Offline: 550 Million ISK
Custom packages are available, please join ôCPR Pubö to chat with us.

I'm at a loss here. If the POS is offline and has no guns, why can't the client just do it himself? Sure, it takes a while, but really?

The risk. Sometimes that corp has an idiot willing to defend it. It also generally takes for bloody ever.
We do the hard work for you. You take the moon.

So basically you are saying you will only sit still and shoot at harmless offline POS structures?
Exciting?
I suppose *someone* has to do it, but yeah...

It's one of the most boring things to do in the game. Worse than mining in my opinion. You actually have to pay attention :(
We'll do it for you, for a nominal fee.

Maybe i'm being deliberately obtuse but couldnt any corp with a dozen or so pilots smash an offline tower without too much difficulty?
Unless you are offering a big enough battleship swarm to remove online towers of any size in highsec, you don't really have a selling point

In this example, why bother with courier contracts, when one can run 27 runs from Rens to Amarr by themselves? Because, maybe you have something better to do.
Already contracted by the by, slots full until 12/02/2009.
Good answer, and I can respect that. Although I think, to entice more customers, you need to offer more than pewing offlined towers or onlined with no defences. It's a good idea, and I hope it works out for you in the future! ---- The Demigodess with a Conscience - An EVE IC Blog Personal Killboard |

Any corp with a couple BS (or even BC if you have time...) surely can.
I'm offering to do this time-consuming, boring job. We do towers of any size, right now there's a type restriction on larges, but, I've got one coming up tomorrow out of that type that we are going to try, see how long it takes, and if we are interested in doing the worst of them.
Any idiot with a indy can take courier contracts, why bother making them, when you can run them yourself?
We free up your time to do more useful things. BS Fleet standing by and ready. Soonest contract we can start is 12/02/2009.

Didn't he already say, "Already contracted by the by, slots full until 12/02/2009."
Not to be mean, but it sounds like he's already getting clients. I don't think he asking for your opinions on his idea, but rather advertising his service. If he's already getting clients the "this sounds boring" and "I could do this responses" are kind of pointless. Do you also go into restaurants and tell them you're capable of making your own food?

Suggestion taken, and, as we grow, I expect to be able to take on more and more aggressively defended towers. For now, however, Being able to clear moons for tower placement for our clients is what we do.
I don't really care what people can do by themselves, or, what XXX can do. This is what *we* do, these are the services *we* offer. No one is forcing anyone to take advantage of this offer.
Not everyone wants to sit at that DG Med POS and reload a Tempest for 8 hours. Not everyone wants to risk War. Not everyone wants the possible fallout from war (mercs, etc). Not everyone wants to have to switch 5-10 POS of thier own to 'Deathstar mode' so that a moon near Jita may be cleared for them.
We don't mind at all. If the price is right, we'll do it for you post haste.

I think it sounds like a great idea! Was just adding my two cents that in order to be really successful, offering defended POS takedowns as well would be a good way to go for expanding the business. ---- The Demigodess with a Conscience - An EVE IC Blog Personal Killboard |

Oooo.. oooo!! I have a question!!
Your corporation currently has 6 pilots. Now assuming they are all active at the same time, what is sys-k going to do for competent pilots now that you have left?

Interesting. Probably very profitable for you, specially when you get the occasional BPO drop.
What happens if you get hired to take down a small offline and the owner corp onlines it after the concord mail arrives? And they anchor defenses? Will you refund the fees?

If they anchor a bunch of defenses before we can shoot them down, on a small, I would probably discuss it with the client first and see how they would like it handled. I would want to make every effort to take it, however. We do have the capability to call in additional forces if needed, tho that would result in a delay while they declare war as well.
If it appeared that it was not something we could handle, then yes, I would want to refund the fees.
Speaking of BPO's, oddest thing happened about 4 towers ago. Unanchored the labs, as the normal goes, took them to Rens to sell, repacked them for sale, and a thorax bpo dropped out.
The little warning box when you unanchor a tower specifically states that anything in the labs is destroyed. No idea why that happened. Damn thing was ME0 PE0 tho :/ Took me forever to unload on contracts.

Anything that is on the lab's floor gets destroyed. But if the BPO was installed at a job in the lab, from the lab's floor (i.e. no remote research/manufacture), it will drop out when the lab is repackaged.
Our record, back when we were killing offline towers for isk, was a bit under a billion in BPOs dropped from a single lab.

Oh, I see, that explains it, thanks. I've not had one drop since, and, we've taken a LOT of labs, figured it was a bug or something from asking around.

Maybe I'm just naive, but why would you want to pay 500 million ISK to destroy an undefended, offline tower in high sec? It can't hurt you, it's not helping your enemies, and there are PLENTY of moons in high sec for you to research your BPOs. I realize that it takes a LOONNNG time to kill a POS in high sec. However, 500 million ISK to take down a large offline POS is potentially MORE ISK than it costs to BUY the POS in the first place. ---------- There is always a choice. The choice might not be easy, nor simple, nor the options be what you desire - but, nevertheless, the choice is there to be made. |

I was thinking this myself, but if people are willing to pay there is no issue, and if people aren't willing to pay as long as the OP is willing to drop his prices then again.. I see no problem..
Honestly its a plan with no drawbacks.
