Please Read before posting:
Im showing you what ships can do when the time is right. You need to put these setups in yourself and play with them. This is why they are showed with overload + boosters.
A lot of personal preference on setups, minor though they are, the odd module(s) change for each setup would be tailored your play style and situation, please keep that in mind when posting.
The setups posted are good solid foundations from which to build from.
I cant post setups for all ships, all tactics, all styles of play, would be here all week else. Just take it with a pinch of salt and try to understand what im trying to do.
As ever, make these setups your own and play with them. Im here to try and help you.
Finally mandatory / shameless video promotion because it does showcase setups shown below and tactics used, this is Part 1 of 4 uploaded lovingly to YouTube. 2, 3 and 4 will be linked in the side.

Looks good, but I'm missing the shield/gank Brutix. I rather like the shield Myrm setup altough I'm questioning your istabs. I know why you fit them instead of nanos but they have a downside of their own and speed is always useful.
On the tripple rep myrm; I have a hybrid version of that with double rep and a 1600 plate, while that may sound odd as if you're a not focussed on your tactics, I've found it to work rather well. It's easier on the cap and In most circustances (unless you start tanking silly stuff with Exile) it works just fine.

The fit was modified from my Tempest fit in Late 06' early 07' when Nos were still overpowered and Nos Domi's were frequent. The second injector on the Tempest allowed me uninterrupted active tanking so in effect killing alot of Dominix.
After Rigs were introduced, the Dominix could be retro fitted using the same concept only using more cap with lower cycle times on the Armour reps to increase the tank. It is till this day probably the most successful Battleship fit i have flown and is still completely unchanged for over 3 years.

Im intrested in the tri/rep mrym! how long can it last with all repping mods active? Have you been in a number of situations that has pushed it to that point? I have been trying to come up with ways to counter that fit with a cane. Its pretty obvious that capping it right away is a no go! Which makes out lasting it my only option.

The engagements ive had with it have been either me overpowering or being blobbed so far, however...
I sent this setup to Violator / Endless Subversion several months ago and they make a good video showcasing better than i have currently link is here

I think your "All level V" character has some hardwireings since it differs from mine (managed to identify at least PG2 on thorax fit and some DPS figures vary). Anyway, thanks for rest of the fits of Kessah series

With ships that have a bandwidth of 125m3 i will use either:
5x Orges II or 5x Berserkers II
Or in some case its safer to use, 4x of the aforementioned exchanging one Heavy drone for 5x lights for offensive damage on hostile frigates.
With ships that have a bandwidth of 75m3 i will use either:
2x Orges II 2x Hammerheads II 1x Hobgoblin II
or
2x Berserkers II 2x Valkyries II 1x Warrior II
or a combination of the two, with ships that have 50m3 i will use:
5x Hammerhead II or 5x Valkyries II - anything else are Hobgoblins or Warriors.
I tend to stick to these drones for 3 reasons:
1) Most armour tanked ships in eve have Explosive as their weakest resistance. 2) Gallente drones have the largest damage multiplier and although thermal is averagely tanked on ships it still hits hard and covers shield tankers better than Matar drones. 3) I have both race drone specialisation to level 5.
The 2,2,1 combination on 75m3 bandwidth ships, is also more damaging that 3x heavies.
Hope this helps.

All the "yeah, but..." and "this is MY fitting" -guys aside, you, kessah, deliver some very impressive results, and present it neatly packaged - with clickys and even videos to boot.
T2 mods only, solo pvp, insurable ships....truly inspiring, and what Eve should be about.
Thanks man.

You and others like you are why i do this. Because its what EVE should be about, helping people to clip the huge Eve learning curve as much as possible and to truly experience the best the game has to offer.
Thankyou, it provides me with the drive to help as much as i can.

Edited by: Flying ZombieJesus on 07/12/2009 15:25:10 Nice fits - I like the domi, but question the survivability in even a small gang if its primaried. I guess I'll have to give that one a try for myself, right?
I run both the dual rep ishtar & thorax fits already, though I run without guns on my ishtar... maybe I'll slap some small rails to take out drones.
Nice fit on the thorax - I did something almost identical, except I yielded to an 800mm plate instead... yours is quite the superior ship, so I will be refitting mine ;)

Tbh, even tho I do not agree 100% on all your fits, they give insight into proper PVP. And while this is aimed towards newer players, its always interesting to see other players fits and results. So keep on trucking. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is my YouTube channel, it has a heavy amount of video footage on that Dominix fit, so you will be able to gauge its survivability by example. I really hope that it can help you.

This may fall into the Realm of a really stupid question, but what exactly are you doing with your cargo hold during those videos?

Its never a stupid question chief if you dont know it. We were all new to this game once, so dont worry about that.
I think you talking about the medium secure cargo container within my main ships cargo, if im correct in thinking? You'll need to be alittle more specific if its not
Its a sort of bug that CCP have reported to know about, but dont wish to change it. It basically increases your cargo capacity by a small but advantageous amount.
By doing this i am able to hold an extra two cap 800 charges, which may not sound alot, it really does help alot when using an active tank.

Ah savage, i must totally start using that myself, never thought of doing it before.
I just totally got confused by the dual cargo hold screens.
Thanks for the info and some pretty good fits i must say i think i'll be making a few changes to some of my ships.

The last couple of months, I haven't been to happy with Gallente Boats. Looking at your fittings, the lachesis one for example, makes me think I definitely need to look into it again. Some of those fittings are approaches I haven't even thought of yet, can't wait to go for it.
