for some reason patching and full client downloads are curropted, CRC error please download a fresh copy ect ect ive tried the bittorrent fall back the offline install. im so f@#$ing confused and frustrated, can any one help?

Same problem here.
I've already tried everything and no sucess.
I hope with today's patch it will be solved.

CRC errors are usually indicative of some bad registry settings. Be sure to download CCleaner and run a scan for registry errors.

dling with dl manager failed, crc failed blah blah blah, ran ccleaner,im guessing i have to dl the whole god damn thing again, will update

How do i fix this? I've been trying to download the client in every possible way..

Unexpected end of archive
Glad if i could get some help.. had to reinstall the game.. had it working in the morning.. but now when i wanna install it again.. It's just a big error?

btw I ran ccleaner before dling the client, tried it just now and it gave the same fking error message, this is really getting ridiculous, would be a shame if i had to quit eve because i can't get the fker installed

Same here, I run 3 different computers and no combination of downloading will work, I have used over 15 gig in downloads and I only get 25 gig download per month.
I run 5 accounts and cant change any skillz.
Im in Australia if it wasnt obvious.
Please what is wrong.

after a recommendation from a friend I'm defragging my computer. It began about 3 hours ago and is still running lols^^. Once it finishes I'll attempt to download/install again and will update.

I found my problem.
Windows 7 64bits was in some way corrupting downloaded files of large chunks of bits. They were corrupted while swaping to RAM or while downloading and if you ask me how I solved the problem i can only say that I re-install XP and downloaded Eve again, and in that time no errores were found.

I fixed mine no thanks to ccp or there suposed repair tool by having a freind host the full version and seading it on ftp server, I connected to him and it downloaded just the broken bits.
CCP's bit torrent isnt a proper torrent, just sayin.

OK, this is getting very annoying...
I've been trying to patch my EVE since Dominion was deployed and so far no luck. After Dominion was deployed I lunched game and it prompted auto patch. Once patch was downloaded I tried to patch game but it started to give me the error: "Failed to extract 7z package". I tried several times to run patch but the above message all the time accrued. After I tried to download manual patch several times and every time I got the above message or saying that patch is corrupted and I need to download fresh copy.
At one point I thought that problem is with my main PC so I went to get the patch on my 2nd rig as I had EVE client installed on it as well. The story was the same so I won't believe that problem is in hardware and looks of it problem is caused at CCP's end.
Yesterday I uninstalled my EVE client and reinstalled it from Original game DVD I had which took me back to build 74306. Lunched game and was prompted to auto patch to build 118495, patch size was 1.5GB. Needless to say that it didn't work again and gave me error: "Failed to extract 7z package".
So at this point IĈm getting mega annoyed as I have 2 accounts, can't play game and my skill queue is depleting.

I downloaded the original dominion patch. It failed. Downloaded the off line patch and got on. When 1.01 came out. It all started over again. Defrag reg clean blah blah blah. I managed to get one client up and running yesterday but when shifting to alt client the computer freezes on exit. This is really getting boreing.

ok my problem was shortage of HDD space soo i cleaned it uninstalled eve and sigularity as both take over 10gb on drive tried to reload test no joy but more importantly tried to install tranquility keep getting checksum errors in stallation please download manually i did and still same problem arises im getting frustrated at this been a client now since 2005 and looks like ccp dont need clients no more as people losing connection and unable to download fresh copy of Eve come on ccp get with program fix this issue or u may lose alot more fans very quickly

All the problems listed below here also at me.
But i'm playing again...
I tryed the most of the described here too.
My way goes about the torrent-loader.
he aborted at 200MB and switched to Eve-online patch loader-like loader and beguns at NULL to load.
But the file name was the older Version-number as described on the "load-button" of the EVE-homepage.
I don't had any hopes, but i reinstall eve with this file. i dont had any to lost...
before, i just remove the EVE-Folder. nothing else.
hm, yea it works.
The login screen apears and wish to load the 101 patch.
Patch also works and all inline-folders are save. I can play.
What a mess...it takes three Days...

I had a corp member with these issues here is how we got him past it.
1) We used a download manager called "downloadthemall" which works within Firefox
2) We disabled any security software which could screen the files, or be wary of temp files attempting to execute any programs
3) When the client was downloaded ( full client btw ) we ran this just after a reboot ( and after point 2 was done )
This sorted him out.

I have downloaded the client 3 times now and i keep getting an error on trying to intall the game. The installaton proceeds normally right up untill the installation bar is at full then it ails to complete. The message returned is:
"Some installation files are corupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation."
I am an Aussie player using an i7 processsor with Zotec 295 NVIDIA card. My operating system is WINDOWS 7 PRO 64 bit. My anti-virus is bit defender 2010 and i have attempted to install the client by disabling the virus software. I will file a petition on this / bug reprot and hope someone can assist. The entire system is less than a month old.

There is quite literally no more frustrating experience than encountering an error of thi nature on a system that otherwise works flawlessly. Come on CP u can do better than this... less music videos more game content.
