Also the music in the pvp vid was pure gay but nice fight.

My Omen:
[Omen, Cheap Nano] Damage Control II Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Nanofiber Internal Structure II Overdrive Injector System II
10MN MicroWarpdrive I Fleeting Warp Disruptor I Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 800
Focused Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch M Focused Medium Pulse Laser II, Scorch M
Medium Auxiliary Thrusters I Medium Auxiliary Thrusters I Medium Low Friction Nozzle Joints I
Warrior II x3
An Omen has terrible PG/CPU to fit a decent tank AND gank, so I haven't bothered. Instead I've fitted it a bit more like a Vagabond and got a nice result out of it. 310 DPS at 19km including drones and still a little bit of EHP to give you warning when you should GTFO. Very tight fit with AWU IV, but it does fit. ------------------------ Low-sec is like sailing along the coast of Somalia...

excellent videos, very entertaining, always love to see people fight solo and outnumbered and come away with a win, even if they take you down, you're still winning just because you're solo and relying on experience and skill to get kills, instead of overwhelming numbers. Mad props, keep it up.

~400 dps, ~22k ehp. Nearly same DpS and tracking as FMP, less PG-use. Aurora sucks, though. Get in close fast, melt face. Had good success with it.
Laserax (same fit but FMP) has more DpS (full flight med drones) AND EHP. :( But hell, Omen is a lot more Sexy. :)

I have some beef with a lot of these fits because most of them require cpu or pg impants to run properly.

What do you have in Imp-Slot 6? Normaly nothing. 1% PG/Cpu imp is an investition in your fittings like any EANM II over an ANP II. (Even nearly same price :D). 3% can be seen as faction versions. To get the best yout of some Ships (and "some" means Amarr mostly) needs some comitment. Kessah sets this level of comitment relatively low with 1% imps (~700k - 3 mil).
I my self roll with 3% PG b/c Full rack HPL II Harb with an actual tank is a lot more sexy than an FMP or *shouders* mixed one, to name an example.

Your standard geddon has no mwd. Yet your 'fit without mwd' does.
I think youve got them backwards. OHGODS BELOW THIS LINE IS MY SIG !!!! SRSLY! Blane Xero > Lance is at -0.9 sec status with a 1 million bounty. Lance is also amarrian. Thats 3 evil points |

Edited by: Velin Shade on 12/12/2009 09:45:35 I'm eager to try a neut Apoc, It seems like it would catch people off guard.
Edit: Also, regarding the Sac fit, if you're going active tank (which you should on this ship), then it makes the most sense to drop the damage control for another eanmII.

Nope, i didnt get them backwards, my standard fit Geddon flies without a MWD. Ive always flown it like that. Works pretty well too.
Its generally for Low sec, but ive used it to a good effect in 0.0 aswell. If you dont believe me ive uploaded a number of videos of Amarr battleships without a MWD fitted to youtube, links in the thread title.

In my experience i find the structure buffer helps me alot more than a slightly better active tank, its quite a tiny amount to justify a great loss in your hull hitpoints, i am frequently saved by my hull buffer.

I run with a blank clone most of the time, so picking up these cheapo implants for most of these ships isnt much of an investment. You can use the setups as a base and work on them to fit your preference. However they work for me.

In that case, drop the BCU, and go all out on your tank.

I personally find the DPS far too low then. Its about balance, the tank is strong enough to tank most things in its class if not all and is nimble enough to run from plated ships. You can switch out some of the modules if it pleases your preference more, however this suits my style of play.
Understand if you feel differently about it, but again these are my setups and i find they work for me, the odd module change ofc is down to what you prefer. There guides nothing more.

Your setups have taught me to love the domi once again and the dual rep, dual injector setup is now my main pvp setup. Couple that with the fact that youve made some awesome PvP videos and shared your fits for all races and ideas with the community is nothing short of awesome and I'd like to say thank you

Is it really worth it to mix different guns on some of the ships for a little better fitting?

Is there any penalty to mixing guns? Why fit 7 DHP when you can fit 4 DHP and 3 mega pulse lasers?

Nice contribution, Kessah.
I often fail to understand why not to mix guns, considering that 'bang-for-the-buck' factor can be pretty substantial at best.

Generally it's due to the fact you want your guns to be shooting at the same range so you can keep your optimal for all guns rather than half. However mixing different classes of the same size gun for example FMP and HPL isnt an unworkable offense, it's just not considered ideal, and it's usually down to how good your fitting skills are, hope that helps a little.

Originally by: Intigo kessah, none of the Ranises you've killed have been any good. Any good dual prop Ranis will completely destroy your MWD/Scram Sader and if you think otherwise you are clueless.
That's not true at all. Dual-prop ranis is a hard enemy for a sader, but even sader w/o rep can beat it with a good chance. When sader has gatlings and rep - chances are even higher.
Mid-range (=dual light with range rigs) sader died with introduction of overheat, period. Beam setup is still possible, but it sucks alot if you can't spend 200+ mils on it and do not possess good reflexes.
I don't like OP's sader fitting because of the rigs and nano plating (sooo lowsec-ish; i don't use such fits even in lowsecs), other than that its concept is fine.
AB-only interceptor outside of deadspace is ***. I wish all of you get owned by mwd long-range counterparts.

Sorry I accidentally left my damage implants installed on that fit. Without them is should be 768 or 860 with overload.
5% were plugged in. The 5% Medium Laser turret is cheap though.

Omg stickeh!
Nevermind that, already did a bookmarkeh.
That was awesome and very inspiring. I love it when you wait for your armor to drop to 30ish% and only THEN hit the reppers and show them the sick repairing power you pack. Same with the applying of your point: once you did it only JUST before they realized things weren't actually going so smoothly. A couple of great changes of 'fortune' in those vids.
Also thanks for the Amarr fits; great resource for an aspiring noob like myself.

Not bad, but gets boring. Same ship, same hostiles, same situations. There was no "omg how he did that" effect. It just made me laugh how all those t2 cruisers pop under web.
