Anyone else had a problem with time codes?
Just purchased a time code and activated it which added 60 days to my account, the renewal date was 22nd February 2010. Just gone to log into EVE with my main account and it's been suspended.
Check the account details page and yep not showing anything now!!!! Bloody annoying, posted a petition but was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I had an issue with a plex a couple of months ago. I activated it, but the transaction never went through, and my account was suspended. I eventually got round to petitioning it, and it was rectified in the end.

Mine states 'Expired', also glad that I have a second otherwise I would have been buggered for raising the petition!
I need it sorting CCP... I'm already getting the shakes!!!

I got this problem too m8. I pay for my 4 accounts with my credit card, but I decided to change over to GTCs since its cheaper. I wacked a 60 day GTC on one of my accounts last week, then today I got a mail saying that my credit card has been billed. So I file a petition, and then they suspend my account!!! So i've technically paid for the next 3 months, and I still can't login.
@CCP, it may be a known issue, but it's a BIG ISSUE! If everyone who pays on GTCs starts getting suspended expect a ****storm of petitions soon.

SO, my acc runs out in 4 days and will be putting in a plex ingame mostlikely,
so is it only GTCs(60days) or also PLEX (30day) ? or what... and i dont feel like having to be on "suspended-mode" for a few days ... so what's the dealio realy ?

whost, you can turn your GTC into 2 plexes in-game (1 60-day GTC Out of Game=2 PLEXes in-game).

I know its annoying when things like this happen, but rmemeber that there are likely hundreds if not thousands of issues these people have to deal with and you haven't even been waiting 24 hours yet. Give them a little more time and I know they'll get it put right for you.

I had a PLEX that upped my account by only 24 days instead of 30. GM fixed in in just a little over a day. Just to give you a timeframe. -

I used a ETC last night and a few minutes after the website reported the time was extended with another 60 days I got booted from the game. I opened a petition from another account, still no answer after 9+ hours.

How long does it take for them to answer to a petition nowdays?

completely off topic but how did you post on the forums with an inactive account? I have wondered that for years, anytime my account runs out I can't log in to post.

This might be related. When I entered my ETC I still had about 22 days play time. I payed via WebMoney for the first month and then entered the ETC. Either way, I can't reactivate any other way to see what happens. Still no response, this is very annoying.

Just petitioned this problem as stuck for my main account, which was disabled 20 mins after I set out on a lr/hac roam through a wh to 60+ jumps from where I live.
The petiton was moved to EVE Timecodes with no comment left.
Got a feeling I may be down a shiny new zealot before this is sorted.

As someone mentioned two or three posts ago you can make petitions with the account, go to petitions and below the log in details there is a link, only noticed that after the chap above posted that we could.
Not sure whether or not to make a petition with the actual account, just don't want to add another to their log though... might crash or something ;)

Had my alt disabled 3 or 4 days ago although I paid for it on december 3rd. Billing history has been deleted too and GMs don't really seem to be interested in that.

How about you change the title to something more realistic like 'don't use gtc on account page to add time to your account!' then type a short sentence in the op about how you break it into plex and use them ingame to avoid the bug as simply purchasing a gtc has no chance of getting you shut out of the game?

Grrr. Just tried to change my alt's account from credit card subscription - billing interval up on the 25th of December - to ETC and the page wasn't working right so I sold one from this account to the alt account. All that went through fine and I can see the isk from the transaction on the selling character's wallet... yet the alt account is now suspended.

Writing to confirm that something is amiss with the GTC system. I've got an account that was (in theory) activated yesterday via GTC, but remains disabled for actual play. I'm still waiting for my petition on the matter to be answered.

Wait. Banned? FYI we're talking about something entirely different. Our accounts have been disabled because they ran out of time. Yet they haven't. We can't log in to petition it or anything. We can't pay to subscribe them back because they have more than 30 days of time left.

Unfortunately I was not aware of this issue until it was too late. I too had an account suspended today. Said account was set to expire on 1/4/2010 and I applied a 60 day GTC to it this afternoon. Now that account shows up as expired.
I have logged a petition.. but based on the responses in this thread I won't hold my breath waiting in anticipation for timely help.

once i put the petition in the correct area it took less than 12 hours to sort my main account out. Place it under Billing and Account and category of EVE time codes
they will get to it asap and yes its annoying

At 18:00 eve I used a gtc using the secure thingy and it has been suspended just like all the others here, 20 min later. It showed the added 60 days on the subscription as well as the suspencion untill I logged out/in of the eve website and now it just shows the latest gtc use as today but also says that the acount is suspended with no time remaining.
I've filed a petition right away but its been about 6 hours since I added the gtc. I supose I've got my 48 hours to wait to. I need to put a gtc on this acount soon and am wondering about the plex solution however I'm tempted to just throw more wood on the fire and try thier system again.
I guess in conclusion, the problem persists.

CCP should really think about disabling that option and posting a note why when people try to use it, and give alternatives to instructions on alternate means of applying the gtc.
Also I think some of you guys should request skill training credit if you lost skill time, and ask for game time credit as well if any of the paid time was used up during the disabled period. CCP has always seemed to me to be reasonable about stuff can't really think of a time when they haven't. Cant hurt to make some demands, so long as demands are made with respect and kindness, maybe a little understanding cause the holidays.

Is the whole account managment website ****ed up?
I tried to add my CC BEFORE my account ran out of time (I had about 2 days of play time left) and I got a error message, went back tried again and enter info again, same error message.
Then I go back to the main page and see that my CC was accepted and I was charged TWICE for 60 days of play time.

Bought GTC when still have 10 days left, got kicked out of New Eden in a few minute, filed a petition, no respond, there goes my winter break.
Well done CCP, for failing to notify players about a 2-weeks-old "known issue" , for being a good example of how terrible a custom support team can be. A++

And your point being what? The fact that they have known and done nothing about the problem for 3 weeks now? The fact that they have not suspended the service that is causing all the problems for the past 3 weeks. The fact that even on the best days they are slower then a Sloth to correct errors they make?
They know about they problem so thrusly they should have a small army of GM's sitting there to make sure it's not going to be a problem regardless of what time of year it is. Or they should have suspended the service at the 1st sign of trouble.

Problem solved, no lost skill time and add few days of subscription. Answer 36 hours after petition. Nice job, and thx CCP for fast answer.

Same problem here. There is another topic on this problem in the Timecode bazar section. The weird thing is that all other previous transactions are missing from my acc. manag. -> subs. details. -> transaction list. Only this most recent (60 d gtc) transaction and the 1st ever (14 days free trial) transactions are listed and I made quite a few payments using my credit card. Almost 24 h since i filled the petition, still no answer.

So it seems to me that I'm stuck. I'm stuck outside EVE, maybe I should file a stuck petition... They seem to be taken care of.

Ive been stuck out of game for over 3 days now. I'm posting this on a different account, because i cant log in on the website. I cant log in to make a proper petition, and the one i did make has been open for 3 days, if I try to make another one, it tells me my quota for petitions has been filled. I cant buy more time with my credit card because i get this message:
We are sorry but you can not update your payment details unless you have less than 30 days playtime remaining on your current subscription.
Good luck to the rest of you. This is ridiculous. I'll just sit and think about all the lost training time. Woot.

Really glad that my gametime is almost up and I normally pay via a time code from Shattered Crystal. Guess CCP doesnt want people to play anymore, that's one way to fix the lag :D

Edited by: Lord Vega on 05/01/2010 16:58:35 I experienced the same thing on my account around the 1st of january, i made a petition right away and waited with twiddled thumbs.. 32 hours later i made another petition with an attachment to ensure they had every detail when it struck me that would not matter when i cant login at the website.
Earlier today i received a reply on my second petition (not the first one i made 32h earlier) tho i listed the first petition tracking ID in the second one. I waited 4-4+ days for my account to get reactivated, 5 days gametime was added and no skill training seem to have stopped in the 4+ days.
And i have now completed 4 single player games in the meantime, mean CCP support

The GTC issue has been resolved, so if you are still experiencing problems with the purchase of GTCÆs then please file a Billing GTC petition.
