Heard something about ring mining and such any idea when this is coming? same with tesselation tbh but i figure thats years away. Heard its going to be that nerf for tech moons so the bottleneck is killed. And when the south gets tech what do you think this will hold for null sec then? |

Mining production and economy is just as essential to this game as blowing up ships
Without it you would be flying a ibis by now , but it is ok i understand that. This is way too complex for you
Industry can just be as hardcore pvp as blowing up ships from finding the best asteroids for your corp. And selling your minerals for the best price all the way up to manipulating the markets and outselling your competition
Besides the proffesional miners in this game got alot smarter now it seem compared with a year ago

The only reason CVA have space is because nobody wants to grind through 56 station timers in order to live in Providence. Tech moons in providence along with destructible outposts... Party time. |

Glancing over the fits of recent deceased Orca's, Hulk's, Mackinaws, Retrievers and Coveters, the miners surely have grown some extra brain cells since then. Sadly they assigned them to the wrong part of the game.
Not to mention the mining/ indy corporations that let new member(s) in without checking the new members corp(hop) history.
I've been following some players and almost every other day they join a indy corp, join their mining op usually within the hour and zap-kill the mining fleet. Orca, Hulks you name it. By now these players have a corp(hop) history as long as my arm and well documented kill stats. But does anyone check their new member history?

tesselation and ring mining are 2 completely diff things tesselation is an entire rework of all the graphics where as ring mining is just implementing a small addon ccp could do it in a month or 2 tesselation will be next year or something |

T2 production won't become cheaper, the price will be offloaded onto all the other materials required.
Especially if ring mining requires active mining. If a whole bunch of mining fleets suddenly swap out to do ring mining, supply of high ends will drop dramatically.
Since ring mining is supposedly part of a full on industry revamp it would be reasonable to assume CCP will be rebalancing multiple aspects of the mining experience.

Ring mining is a major rework of core game mechanics, it is not something CCP can bash out in a month.
Also, IIRC from fanfest tessellation is going to have a reasonably large team dedicated to it.
