Once again it's the festive season and as we're a cheerful, generous bunch, this gives us another excuse to throw a vast ammount of ISK and Eve Store items at you will nilly with little regard for our own corporate wallets.
So, much like last year we are holding a week long special holiday event of huge, nay, epic proportions that would surley appeal to even the most miserly amongst you.
From midnight (gmt) tonight and all the way through until 18:00 gmt sunday the 20th December, Eve Radio will be giving away 20 x 1 billion ISK instant cash prizes to tuned in listeners. Like before, this will take the form of listening out for a special audio alert (you'll know it when you hear it) and then Evemailing me (That's MrBlades of the Eve Radio corporation, CEO DJ Whitey) with the subject "Giveaway" and being the lucky nth person to be drawn.
This will happen 20 times over the event period and could come at any time day or night.
Please note, in order to take part in the random cash prize draw you will need to be tuned in via the Eve Radio website.
Further to that, we are once again opening our Eve Radio Agent Mission Database with 50 fully voiced agent mission briefing that will, if completed successfully automatically add your name to a special finale prize draw that could see you walking away with upto 20 billion ISK.
Please note, the Eve Radio Mission Database won't be available until 02:00 gmt on monday 14th December.
Not bad.
But that's not all!
During the course of this week many Eve Radio DJ's will be holding their own special events and competitions with awesome prizes up for grabs. One in particular - DJ Moz's Die Die My Darling event has a staggering 25 billion ISK's worth of high end and faction ships up for grabs.
Just these two events ammount to 65 billion ISK in prizes and theres a whole heck more available through the various shows running during the period.

Christmas Comes Early has now officially started!
The Eve Radio Agent Missions Database is open and available right here. For full details on how to take advantage of this festive feature and win upto 20 billion ISK, click here. And just FYI, a little birdy tells me the first audio alert is going off sometime in the next 20 minutes. You need to tune into Eve Radio via the website in order to be in with a chance. You can do this here.

Day 1 went down very well with over 70 Agent Missions completed along with 3 Billion ISK and one of the new Navy Battleships given away.
1 Platinum ticket was also been awarded to a lucky pilot which can only be given out by CCE participating DJ's and give the holder an advantage for this sundays super draw of upto 20 billion ISK.
Tuesdays lucky alert number is 32.
Highlights for today are DJ Amergins Team PVP Contest held in Bawilan on the 15th December from 16:00 gmt and a special Christmas Lemmings Leap with DJ Sam and Spuffy who will be leading the Lemmings (including a number of ER DJ's) to their glorious, firey deaths somewhere dark and dangerous.

Day two is now over and has seen another 60 agent missions completed and 3 billion ISK given out. And as it's the season of good will and generosity, CCP have gifted us with a Caldari Raven Battleship model from the Eve Store which will be drawn alongside the massive 20 billion ISK payout that is only available to pilots who complete at least 1 Eve Radio Agent Mission.
In other news, DJ Amergin awarded 5 platinum tickets and a number of PLEX to the winning pilots in his team pvp contest while Spuffy led over 50 Lemmings into a razor gatecamp and utterly failed to kill anything. Appaling as that was, prizes were handed out willy nilly.
On wednesday you can look forward to even more random prize alerts as well as from 0500 gmt DJ Erkenfresh will be holding a special Super Ultra Dangerous Light Show Of Doom where he will be giving out a variety of prizes and explosions. Later in the day and starting at 1900, WorldEater will be hosting a frigate fight free for all where the last man standing will win a PLEX and get a platinum ticket.

MrBlades, can you clarify a question on the EVE Radio Missions? If a contract related to a previous day's mission is received by you later in the week, does it still count as completed? i.e. a pilot sends you 4 contracts for Monday missions early Tuesday morning.

Theres a 4 hour grace period where the previous days missions will still be accepted if contracted up. That basically means you have a full day (24 hours) + upto 4 additional hours to get them in but after that grace period they will be rejected.
Each days missions are refreshed at midnight gmt.

Wednesday has come and gone and I've got more gray hair than I did previously. This is mostly due to the fact over 120 people have completed Eve Radio agent missions in the last 24 hours which all have to be verified, filterd and catelogued. Other than that, we've given away another 3 billion ISK and a number of platinum tickets and are gearing up for tomorrow - which is going to be a very big day ...
Aside from Sunday's main giveaway finale of upto 20 billion ISK and a Raven Battleship Model from the CCP store (thank you again CCP), Thursday has a massive number of ships up for grabs by taking part in DJ Moz's Die Die My Darling super game. It kicked off on monday and concludes at 18:00 gmt today (live show begins at 16:00 gmt) with an estimated 25 billion ISK's worth of ships to be won. Make sure you tune in and take part in this beast of an event.
And if that wasn't enough, DJ Funkybacon has something both festive and generous in store for you all. They say it is the season of giving and recieving and Funkybacons show will be doing just that. In addition to a lot of ISK kicking about he will also have a Megathron Battleship Model from the Eve Store to give away to one lucky person. His show picks up as Moz finishes today at 19:00 gmt. Make sure you don't miss either.

Whether you've been naughty or nice this year, we have a way to guarantee you get something for the holidays... but you'll have to give something too.
For this week's show, we'll be doing our holiday special. The event? An epic gift exchange, here's how it works:
During the 1st half of the show, we'll be opening up our doors for gift donations. These donations can be any in game item, ship, or even fully fitted ship, providing the total value of the gift is worth 5 million ISK or more. There is no upper limit for gift value... if you want to give us a titan or two, that's perfectly fine with us. Cash gifts are not acceptable.
As we take your gift, we'll be taking down your name, and assessing your gift with a value.
During the second half of the show, we're going to go down our list of names (and check it twice) and randomly assigning each of those people one of the gifts from the first half of the show at random.
"But Funky," you say, "Someone could end up giving something really valuable and getting back something absolutely crap in return!"
You're right. In fact, we're counting on that very thing happening, and here's why:
We call it the "Scrooge Factor". Getting Scrooged in this gift exchange means that you got a gift worth less than the gift you gave. The more the disparity, the greater the Scrooge Factor.
The 4 people with the biggest scrooge factors are going to be in for a special treat. The second to fourth place people on the Scrooge Factor list will each be given a platinum ticket for our Epic 20 BILLION ISK Sunday night giveaway.
The person with the greatest Scrooge Factor will be getting a shiny, new, Megathron, and I don't mean the one in game. I mean this beast right here:

Yes, that badass Megathron model from the eve store. Yours. For getting shafted worse than anyone else, and incidentally, not really getting shafted at all.
Obviously, chances are that Model is going to go to someone who's probably very rich, but if they get it by dropping a Supercarrier into the gift exchange, then that means some lucky SOB is walking out of this thing with a supercarrier, and they could have gotten it after giving an unfit faction frigate themselves.

All of this sounds really great and I cant wait to get back home from work to participate in all these festivities 
However, there is one thing I would like to point out - for next year, make sure CCP posts the news item before the start of the whole thing, cause I only found out just now and I missed 3 days of it already

Well since this is a EVE radio event which has nothing to do with CCP therre isn't anything that says they should post a news item about it at all. But since its such good fun and really boosts the EVE experience during the hollidays I'm with you on this one.
But that could possibly mean that MrBlades is never going to grow hair again after every player in eve hears about the 20 bill giveaway and missions  ...

Forums ate my post. This makes me even more cranky.
Anyway, today we gave away a few billion more in isk, someone got lucky and won a Megathron Battleship model with Funkybacon this evening (Thanks CCP) and I'm pulling what little hair is left on my head out because over 200 of you submitted contracts for me to go through today. Thank you.
DJ SilverPixie is on right now and planning on exploding many of you. She has ISK and Platinum tickets to give away. Later today at 19:00 gmt JJ will be doing something suitably festive and will have a Guristas Hoodie to chuck at you amongst other things. All good stuff.
