Hey love the ship cant wait to try it out, this will make W.H exploration easy and more profitable to everyone (Even the scrooge mom pilots who are only angry cause a small ship isnt going to help them componsate for their "other" small things)

and make it so you can't do it more than once.

First and foremost, thanks, awesome to have special ships like these in the game, and especially non-combat almost civlian ships to flesh out the eve-universe!

Wow... Thanks CCP. On my first excursion I was able to find a wormhole, scan the area, bookmark about ten sleeper locations, plan my attack, and execute it, and just about clean out the wormhole in about an hour. The Zephyr makes it easier since you don't have to worry about cloak, it's fast, and because of its small footprint it leaves the wormhole stable for a second run.
I'd like to see if it's possible to match all the high points with a normal frig.

Thanx for the w-system scan ship. It's a nice trophy for the station items hangar. Would be nice if it could use the civilian codebreaker, salvager and analyzer. Since it has a very small cargohold it wouldn't be able to take very much loot and would only be able to access the cans in w-system exploration sites. This is just an idea which would make all those civil mods worth something. Anyway, thanx again.
Hopefully a cold energy wave will sweep thru the eve universe and refreeze all the melted snowballs so everyone can have a little more fun like last year. Maybe it could happen on Christmas Eve and last till New Year's Eve. Would make it an excellent white Christmas

Thank you CCP, but what about us poor souls that are in wormholes and likely will be for the entire duration of the gift period? We can't redeem the gifts w/o being in an NPC station...

Thanks, this was a great idea...now that you are thinking of it.....some dedicated exploration vessels?
with my time in wiskeyspace you need something that has decent off/def a covert cloak and enough utillity slots to do analyze/codebreaker....
you should give these kind of ships away every give away how about a millennium falcon type ship you know, a rum runner

You aren't able to open anything with civ modules in a WH anyways, they are supposed to be for training purposes and that's it :-).
Thanks CCP, whether its supremely useful or not is besides the point, can't go wrong with free stuff. Great looking ship and maybe a nice foreshadowing of things to come (?) :-D.

So just one question.
Why only NPC stations.
I understand the whole Storyline and plausible crap, but hey Santa brought this so that should go out the window. You should be able to redeem it anywhere you are. Because this thing won't make it out an NPC station in 0.0 space.

You can redeem it to any character on the account. I would think most people could have/make an alt in one of the slots that could get to an NPC station to claim it and hold onto it until their main returns.

So I take it "after January 6th" actually means "after January 5th"? Because I just FINALLY had a chance to log on and I don't see the link to redeem it.
I assumed "after January 6th" meant "until the end of January 6th". :(

Beginning Dec 18th 2009, you will find the ability to redeem it on your account login screen. You can then assign it to a particular character and the Intaki Syndicate will deliver it to your hangar bay. You will be able to redeem the holiday ship once per active (not trial) account and will no longer be available after Jan 6th 2010, so make sure you log in to receive yours.
"After" being key word, seems to me you should still be able to get it on the 6th, but not sure.

Hello, add me to the list of the ones not seeing the "Redeem Item" in the login screen.
I tried to use the "Redeem Items" button in the Options Window ("Esc" key) and I get the message "NO TOKENS" and "You have no item to redeem".
I guessed today was the last day to get the Zephyr, as explained already by Gulftobay few posts before this one.

I sent a polite petition basically quoting my above post and received a reply from a GM asking which character I would like my Zephyr placed with - so it's still possible.
I would do it asap though - note the polite part.
