Having now been on the test server many times and having received A LOT of feedback from my Corp members, as well as having read much on the subject.
CCP has an awesome game and I for one would like to see it kept that way!! I do not want to see the Shiva expansion roll out as a disappointment or a disaster.
I would like to know how many of you out their would agree that CCP should take more time to get it done right the first time it goes live. Yes their will be bugs, but as it stands now I do not believe that CCP can finish the expansion and still have it live up to all the ôhypeö in only another week.
I am sure I may get flamed for this, but I would fully support CCP delaying the game another full month considering the current state of things on the test server.
DonÆt get me wrong, it looks awesome and has a massive amount of VERY cool new features and content.
Some examples of items not yet on the test server or totally messed up that I consider important. (proly the wrong place for this, but within the context).
1) Corp Tax system is incomplete, non existent, and more or less useless. Their should be no ôcapö on %. The tax for each item being taxed needs to be better defined.
2) Corp divisional wallets and accounting. Not working, non existent.
3) Corp rolls, remove a role from a player and the permissions that are bonded to that roll donÆt come off of the player. MAJOR security flaw and admin nightmare. Basically makes titles/rolls worthless.
4) New complexes are SEVERLY bugged, especially where they are located.
5) About 500 basic buggs that were squashed on the live server months ago.
6) Player owned stations nearly not worth the cost of building/maintaining. Although I am very pleased with their firepower (currently), lol. Between the lag and the firepower a fleet of even 60 battle ships dont have a chance in hell of taking down a fully fitted station. Their defend ability gives me hope that they may be worth the cost.
I am not flaming CCP. I think what they have made with the Shiva expansion is nothing short of incredible. I simply thing we as a community need to tell them that it is ok for them to take more time.
We know that CCP is dedicated to EvE and its player base, lets give them some ôslackö and take some of the pressure off of them for a while.
Sincerely -CYVOK- CEO. Celestial Horizon Corp.

If 60 BS can't take down a fully fitted station, then they are way too overpowered, considering a small corp of 5 ppl can keep em going no problem.

That's what this extra week is for, more balancing. I say implement it and do a rollback if anything goes seriously wrong (somebody discovers a way to dupe billions).
I'd really like to see the patch deployed and see what happens although my prediction is that it will probably be released on December 16th, exactly a year after Castor.

I don't think you need to worry about CCP panicking and release the expansion before they deem it is ready. So far they have pushed back every deadline so I doubt they listen to much about our whining and so it should be. If the expansion won't be ready on the 23rd it probably won't be released on the 23rd. __________ Capacitor research |

Shiva looks awesome. It runs awesome for me (a lot better than the TQ build right now acutally, despite the occasional graphical glitch).
I can't wait for release, but at the same time I'm not sure that one week is enough time to deal with the issues. I got very stuck in a pocket of deadspace last night that forced me to go 15 jumps out of my way to get around it because it was so close to the gate. This is the kind of thing that alone could have pushed back the release date again.
I want Exodus to be great and I don't know if one week is enough time (less than that now). CCP has shown that they won't release a bad one and that if they think it needs to wait, it will wait despite the pressure we think we can exert on them. I would like to say that I would full support pushing it back again, despite the pain that it places upon my heart. ---------------------------------

I agree, delay it as much as you need. Be it weeks or months. Just don't release it before its done.

I agree. I have been on the test center and CCP has done a great job, but they need more than a week to iron the issues that I have run into.

Count me in! I am for delaying the release as long as it is necessary, only ****ty titles are supposed to be released on time These Big ones have a favour of showing up even one year later (vide Half Life2) so take your time and impress us with almost bug free Exodus release.
Good luck guyz. IBTL (always wanted to do that ).

If most of the major bugs are ironed out then I say go ahead with it. Balancing issues will take time to get right and that is something that is going to need testing within a environment with a larger player base.
Remember what they said about Sis? It was supposed to be a 3000+ player test environment yet how many people are on them testing it out? +-200 at any given time! Unless more players decide to help out with testing the new build and also helping out with the stress testing things are not going to be good as a lot of people will expecte and then I say the only people you can blame for that would be the players who did not help out.

Have you actually TRIED keeping a POS running ? Feeding it with consumables ? Its not as easy as you may think. Besides, all the 60 BS have to do is blockade it for 24 hours and it offlines itself dues to lack of consumables.....
