There is shunting down 5 min and less for server shutdown...
I am in a middle of sleeper anomaly...
Will the wrecks stay after the server reboots ?
WHAT??? there were 3 mins left ...why shut it down earlier ???
I was in a middle of anomaly :(

Probably the server crashed before they could shut it down , the techs would of probably wanted to give the players some warning... I got booted twice , first when the markets went down, then 4 min before the shutdown.
Not much can be done when servers get tempermental, arguing with machinery , while fun , isnt going to get you far.
Hope the techs can find this annoying bugger and lay it to rest.

Waiting for the hundreds of rage quit threat posts. EvE wouldn't be the same without all these little quirks, and after a year away I see these little hiccups as just part of the game's personality. Love you CCP!!

Thats what you get by useing Microsofts sql solutions. Use something thats actyally designed to handle data please.

This is what I most love about Eve Online, that it's not perfect. Extended downtimes, unscheduled reboots, dead markets and socket closed errors give the game some unique character that separates it from rest of the mmorpgs.

I have no idea why CPP have so many god damn issues with SQL.
have you got some trainees pressing buttons there? Its pathetic how many times this happens and everytime its down to "SQL Database" Clearly when you fix it...

Im certainly no expert with regards SQL, but from what I can gather from talking to friends who know more than me, you cant actually fix something which isnt up to the job its been asked to do.

If y'all didn't get any new content you would be whining, you get new content and your still whining, sure there is a few mishaps but it's free for god sake, you can even play the game for free if you make enough money ingame.
