Homeworld Division 1999 - 2003
The origin of the Dark Angel Battalion's members is unknown, since they come from kiith's and civilizations from all over the known universe and beyond. Race, color, origin, kiith......these things have no place in DAB.
Dark Angel Battalion (Homeworld) was formed in December of 1999 by a great strategist by the name of DarkFleetDAB. His intent was to create a Battalion that was to be feared and respected by some of the greatest tacticians in the world. The Dark Angels focus on precision and timing for their attacks, forcing their enemies to surrender or perish.
There are no ranks, no titles, no problems that can't be overcome by the common goal. That goal is to show the universe that any challange can be conquered through teamwork, dedication, respect, dicipline, training, and above all, companionship.
The DAB believe in respect for the tenacious, friend or foe, and look down on those that instill doubt and lack of confidence in themselves. DAB will fight till the end, sacrificing for their comarades even if it means defeat, only then to rise up again and complete the challenges set before them.
Gameplay
DAB is for one thing fun. If you hear differently then that's their fault not ours. We take a light hearted approach towards gaming. We actually do have real lives too contrary to popular thought. What we do take seriously is the friendships we foster through our happy clan of misfits.
The key to being an intergral member of this tight-knit group of folks is participation. Not participation in the purest sense where we expect you online at a certain time or else. Being where you say you will be or doing what you say is important but our not the be all end all. What we simply expect from you is this, "While you're playing the game may as well play with us."
We are in it for the long haul gentlemen and ladies.
Corporate Structure - Freedom and Non-Hierarchy
We strive to maintain a flat corporate structure as human possible. We recognize that some amount of hierarchy must be applied if performing a repetitive or well understood task that can be planned well ahead of need, they can afford to be more rigid in construction such as large fleet battles and mining operations. There are no real set ranks only acting leaders that perform weekly repetitive task to keep the corp running smooth and to ensure all members follow our code of conduct and contribute to a set team goal.
We believe tightly hierarchies are inherently rigid structures, they are less innovative and adaptable, and therefore less robust.
If applied well, self-organization (all for one and one for all) endows the ability to adapt to situations were arbitrary hierarchical systems is doomed to lose.
In short term, Adapt or die!
Shared Purpose - Synergistic Teamwork
All are required to help achieve a shared team goal and have the passion to achieve it. Synergistic teamwork must be committed to the security and prosperity of each other. We do not welcome greed, selfishness, power seekers and megalomanias. We have no desire to be involved with stubborn politicians, asshats and bungling bureaucrats.
Recruitment
We desire to stay as small possible and managable without a huge hierarchy to encourage longterm prosperity, teamwork, dicipline and above all companionship with a group of friends and allies.
We recruit members of like mind and to have a smaller group of online buddies instead of a huge group of people who don't know a thing about another.
However we recognize the power in numbers in eve which is essential in maintaining team efficiency in pvp and mining.
Corporate Divisions
Turanic Raiders
Nomadic warrior race of inter-galactic hoodlums who ravage the space lanes from a disposed race of refugees to former slave race run amuck. When the Raiders are at the height of their power they field full carrier groups and are capable of taking over entire constellation settlements.
Turanic Syndicate
Corporate unit to build outposts (POS) in a growth-and-retreat cycle in order to slowly build up the raiders power base. |

In Homeworld 1 we made the most comprehensive Strategy Database known as, Stardolt. Credits & contribution from HW clans such as DAB, PSA (old HW allies), SLS, FL, guru etc.
We have been around for a very long time with many great fights. Also PSA has their own corps in EvE with a large playerbase in several games. Honorable players same as DAB.

In Homeworld 1 we made the most comprehensive Strategy Database known as, Stardolt. Credits & contribution from HW clans such as DAB, PSA (old HW allies), SLS, FL, guru etc.
We have been around for a very long time with many great fights. Also PSA has their own corps in EvE with a large playerbase in several games. Honorable players same as DAB.

Update: As of today March 23, DAB is now a full-member of the Firmus Ixion Alliance, aka FIX, aka the best alliance in the game.

BTW MyEpic2 = Sakko, corp theif. Sakko stole an Armageddon from DAB. Cannot be trusted under any circumstances. ANY.

Still looking for pilots that thrive on being in a 0.0
soace enviroment. Use of voice comm's is a must and posting on external forums also a must. We are looking for Pvpers with experince and looking at few "special" cases for noobies pvpers.
New EW balances will bring forth a different kind of EW and we seek both new and old skool EWers :) If you like to log onto eve and have targets then DAB is for you:) IF you like to live free in 0.0 then DAB is for you. If you want to make friends and overall just enjoy the game.. DAB is for you

DAB are one of the larger fix corps and are having great fun with the war against BoB, allthough, it is tough, bob are good pvpers and you will loose ships, but its all part of the game
