One thing is certain, we'll allways aim to be a tight group of players. Friendship among the members. Stay friends and keep laughing and as we communicate good/bad sad/happy we will be a very active and fullfilling group. A bunch of misfits but if we would ever stop being friends DAB or no DAB.
Moments in DAB history vol.1
1999-2002
The origin of the Dark Angel Battalion has been lost to history. All that is known is that sometime after the demise of the Crimson Knights and before the launch of Homeworld the Dark Angel Battalion came into being. Over time the Dark Angel Battalion developed into a clan to be reckoned.
The true origin of its members is unknown, since they come from all walks of life. There is not hierarchy to subvert. There is no ranking to speak. These things have no place in the DAB; only purest gamers in search of the next victory. This accomplished with true friendship and kindred spirits.
What is known is that the Dark Angel Battalion was formed in December 1999 by a great strategist known as DarkFleet. His intent was to create a brotherhood that would be feared and respected by some of the greatest tacticians in the world.
At this time both Freelance and Guru were the terror of the ladder boards. Soon the Dark Angel Battalion would be counted among them. Specializing in team play primarily, the DAB set upon making a name for themselves. Soon names such as Empire, Spaceman, Sculptured, Tinbender, Debaser, Ender, Redstar and Tlock û also known as Mulciber, help create the DAB what is has become today.
The Dark Angels focus on precision, timing and strategy for their attacks, forcing their enemies to surrender or perish. Determination, confidence, mixed with a little luck the DAB prevailed. There are no ranks, no titles, no problems that cannot be overcome by the common goal. That goal is to show all that any challenge can be conquered through teamwork, dedication, respect, discipline, training, and above all, companionship. We are a brother and sister hood of individuals bound by a common interest.
We overcome. We have prevailed. The DAB believe in respect for the tenacious, friend or foe. And look down on those that instill doubt and lack of confidence in themselves. DAB will fight until the bitter end, sacrificing for their comrades even if it means defeat. Only then to rise up again like a phoenix reborn to complete the challenges set up before them.
The Nexus

Tin and Sculptured were talking on the phone to each other while they were playing games and on BC......They all worked there butts off to make a name for the DAB and earn a little respect.
They took a bunch of crap for not having a ranking system Like the other clans did....Darkfleet didn't want that ....he wanted to be a free spirit.
Mike or Mulciber was really a glue that held them together with his gentle spirit and love of people...He would get to know you and then always had something to say to everyone that you knew was just for you cause it was something you had talked about....always lifting your spirit.....he loved and nurtured the whole group......it was amazing .....and he helped with everything he could....He was a very stabablizing person for the DAB in the DARK Days as I shall name them now.
They were all just determined that those big clans would be wrong about them hence the MISFITS...the happy few...what is that saying in shakespere about Saint Crispins Day....we Happy few....who are remembered or something like that. Thats probably what made them so close. |

This week the old Homeworld leader of Crimson Knights, Crimsonfox_ck (HW1) or Evilfox (HW:C) joined DAB.

DAB are also interested in merging with smal-medium pvp based corps. The next 3 months DAB will go through some internal changes to prepare our structure for a 150+ corp. Also during this our focus will be towards expanding our combat division and thus all active in pvp will be given insurance and other privileges to improve our combat efficiency and training. Miners/Npc'er are still welcome and can earn decent ISK within our ranks but its second priority until we complete our pvp goals. |
